Is this a common problem? Yesterday I got a burning plastic taste, checked the cart and the juice holding fiber is stuck to the steel wool loop. I pulled it off, re seated the fiber (still soaked), no problems till this morning. Same thing happened, this time I notice that the fiber is brown, like starting to burn. I replace with a new cart and battery, again it happens on the first few draws. I swap out with a new, never used atomizer, battery and cart. Sticking again, no burning taste though. Normal?

Hi invidregis,

What type of e-cig do you have? I have had the fiber get caught on the steel wool bridge of my DSE901. There seems to be a shap spot that snags the filler every once and a while. But I've had no burning.

Make sure to use a tweezers and pull out any stray fibers off the atomizer. And before you put a cart in make sure the filler is level or just a little below the end of the cart and trim off any stray fibers sticking out.

Hope that helps you out.

Invidregis,
My atomizer did the same thing, them I noticed it was pulling (airily?) compared to my other. Next, even without a cartridge I noticed the vapor was not coming out through the mouthpiece but when I took off the cartridge I could not see the atomizer as the vapor was so thick around it. It felt like there was a leak. I am new and this is my first week with the product so I tried blowing it out as instructed, waiting, priming, waiting some more, different batteries, different carts and the it seemed better but shortly the filter was up again and the vapor and liquid were visibly being pulled out through to the battery side. If I pulled just right I could still get a vap so I tried more e-liquid. Now I can hear atomizer hiss but no vap at all an the battery which was newly charged and it acting intermittently on my other atomizer so a waiting to hear from supplier how to handle e-liquid in battery chamber. Product is so new I don't want to hurt any warranty so am now down to 1 atomizer and battery. Glad it came with 2 e-cigs because it is helping me alot. I haven't stopped analogs altogether but have gone down from 14-17 a day to only four. Current atomizer and battery are so perfect. No prepuffs to heat up. Great vap and hit in just one vap.
I know the atomizer is kaput but am waiting to hear about the battery.
