Now I use the box to store atty parts in. :p

I used my box to store extra 808 stuff in as well, and then finally tossed it in the recycle bin when I got my eGo gear. Now I use a tackle box and a crafts storgage box that I found and bought at Hobby Lobby, a place my wife frequents (Yes, I was THAT bored that day..). The boxes the Blu starter kits come in are really sturdy, I'll give them that much. :D

Thanks, everyone has to start somewhere, I went with blu because I wanted that original feeling of an original cigarette. After ordering the blu and reading on here I do wish I went with volt or the halo g6. But oh well. I got the blu. I will go to a vape shop and look for my options. I'm a railroader and work on call and have a layover in a hotel before I come back so my needs are probably different than others. I do know that I don't want a big heavy pv. Ill be researching on here for something that fits my needs. Seems like this forum is very active and I found a great home. Thank you.

You're filthy rich, so just buy the others ones, too. And a Chi You, and an LE iHy while you're at it. :)

Oh I know, such is the case with some companies, while others rail against it. I'm just amused as the blu e-cigs have kinda a not so good reputation and being a supported product, well that says quite a bit right there. Few of the really good alternative smoking devices are supported by any tobacco company, at least in the research I've done most recently. Most tobacco companies support pharmaceutical companies as a quit smoking method, but I really do see what you mean. ;)
They bought blu because it seems to have a magically alluring quality to newcomers, and they're willing to spend half their paycheck on it without any research, whatsoever. Maybe it's the little blue light on the end.

I still want to like Blu. Maybe they'll get their quality up.
Not likely. They've been around for a while and are able to pull in astronomical amounts of money as they are. Now that they're owned by a legit tobacco company, I doubt there is any interest in improving what already works for them.

That's what I'd kind of expect. More marketing, less QC. Maybe they'll surprise us. But I'm not holding my breath...

Blu was ok, good enough for me to get into a better vape, but not good enough to keep me from buying a pack of American Spirits the day after.

And that was the test of my eGo + Clearomizer setup. The day I got my own eGo + clearomizer setup was the day after the last time I bought a pack of cigs. I smoked American Spirit yellow pack. From being a 1 to 1.5 pack a day smoker I finished my last pack over the course of a week as I started choosing to vape over smoke more and more. Haven't bought a pack since and have absolutely zero desire to do so :D

at least I smell like raspberries instead of a smokestack.

LOLOLOL

So true. In my case it's vanilla. I haven't saved a dime yet either, but it's money soooo much better spent. One day soon it will be more cost effective... unless my visions of a sweet mech setup and Provari Mini come true :p. Hopefully the VAMO2 that's in the mail to me now will assuage my hardware desires for a while.

i wanted to stop by and say hello. been reading lots of thread and decided to join.
im in my mid 30's and have been smoking for 20 years. its time to quit or move over to a safer way. my little brother has been smoke free for almost a month. and has been nagging me to jump on the bandwagon. he says he feels great. besides the 1st 48hrs. so on monday i ordered the premium blu cig(the shorty not the 100) from there website, and tonight i got a email saying they processed my cc (only took them 3 days) and will ship out in 48hrs so i guess itll be here this weekend or monday. fingers crossed after reading the many negative reviews on here about the blu cig. i cant belive i picked the one with alot of problems. if im going to use this as a crutch to switch over i need a high quailty ecig. i went with blu because if a major cigarette company is backing them, then that should(should) mean that they are in the upper class of quality. im not hateing on other brands they all probably come from the same factory in china. id bet 99% of them do. hell half the boxes just have a differnt brand label on them.
thank you to all of you that have posted. that is how we all learn.

I don't know if they come from the same factory but I can tell you they are not all the same. The cigalikes do vary quite a bit. I got 4 different ones and they were different from each other. I moved on as they cigalikes are not as good as some of the better gear. I have gone though somethings that I didn't like but others things that I do like have been found as well.

Blu was not the best cigalike I tried.

Welcome to ECF. I would skip cig a likes try a ego twist with some kanger t3 or mt3 bottom coils. Got me to quit stinkys. Or cartos. I'm trying to learn carto tanks but not having much luck. A few months ago I would have recommended bloog but unsure of their juice now they switched and their blueberry changed to something nasty. I use kangers daily and love them and can only say great things about them. Personally I have not tried a ego twist but I love variable voltage a lot because every juice has a sweet spot and I can't see a day where I would not want that ability.

I bought some Smoktech carto tanks and so far I've burned out 2 cartos by not properly priming. Well, I assume that's what happened, since every hit since has just tasted like styrofoam on fire. I guess the trick with those flanged cartos is to just shove a ton of juice down the top and leave a full tank sitting overnight or something so you can get a decent saturation, because one of them is working just fine after sitting for a couple of days. I like the warm hits of a Vivi Nova, but I don't like the wick maintenance. I think carto tanks will probably be my go-to once I get them down, but for now it's MT3's and a ton of replacement coils.
