So I finally got my first GGTS and a Penelope. I can't tell you guys how excited I am. Now I only got a few questions.

1. What adapters do I need to fit the Penelope and Ithaka (end of the month) on my GGTS? And will the air flow control still work?
2. I bought the Penelope used and the guy sent me Pure Nickel 32 awg non resistance wire and nickel chrome .15mm resistance wire. When I made the wick and wire and tested the ohms on my Provari it was 3.2 ohms:blink: what did I do wrong? So I would like to know what do I do to make the resistance 1.7ohms and how did I end up with a 3.2 ohm wire??
3. Is the Pure Nickel 32 awg non resistance wire and nickel chrome .15mm resistance wire the correct wires to get for my Penelope and Ithaka ?

sorry for the noob questions. I've watched Imeo's and Scott's videos about 10 times and I can't figure it out. Thanks guys!

Get the GGTS adapter from Clouds of Vapor. It'll give you air control on that Penny and a nice, flush mount. As far as the Ithaka, I believe it'll have a GGTS native base.

There shouldn't be much resistance wire. Just enough for a few wraps around the wick. It sounds like you need to use about half as much nichrome as you used.

Those should work. I use kanthal and silver myself, but those will work fine (and some people prefer them).

And where's a good place to buy kanthal wire and what gauge should I get? Thanks for all you guys help!! I really appreciate it!

Ice, do you have a meter? I'd definitely get a multimeter. You could then twist the NR and R and meter out 1.7 on the R and know where to start the next twist.
30 would give you a longer wire which would give more wraps. 32 would be shorter so fewer wraps. But 32 could be longer if you twist the wires. There are so many combinations you will likely try.
My personal vote would be get a meter, and both 30 and 32. Try several setups and find the sweet spot you like.

So today I received the pre-made NR and R wires and the adapter from COV and for the first time I vaped the GGTS and Penelope together.. All I have to say is WOW!!! I GET IT NOW!! I get what all the hype is about. I get why people have 20 GG mods... I get why these GG products get sold out so fast. I'm absolutely in love with the GG products. I mean I love my Provari but the GGTS is on a different level. Didn't think that was possible but it is. From now on I'm only vaping on my GGTS. Only gonna use the Provari at work cause I don't want to scratch my precious GGTS. Cant wait for the Ithaka!! Thank you sooo much Imeo!!
