This thing is built like a tank. I mean I read the reviews but wow, it is solid. When I place it on a table it is stable and doesn't wobble. The vape is solid and continuous. Works great but I have 2 things I will complain about. Please, don't flame me LOL ( I will go on record before you read any further, if I had more money to spend I would buy another one in a heart beat )

Any way, 2 issues:

1 - It didn't come in a box. For the money spent I expected it to be in a box. My vamo from China came in a box. I know it has nothing to do with the device itself and there is no benefit what so ever. I guess I just expected more presentation that's all. No big deal.

2 - Not sure if anyone else experienced this, but it smells like steel. I know it's made out of it but the smell lingers on my hand. The best way to describe it would be if you went to grab a wrench and held it for a minute, that smell. I did buy the Satin color which is really no color. I wonder if the colored ones don't have the smell. Maybe a Jwrap will solve the problem? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

All in all, very happy with it and happy with the size of the mini. I am officially part of the Provari forum :D

They never come in a box. It is the way of the ProVarinati to be reminded of our humble beginnings and to never take for granted the amazing gift that is bestowed upon the worthy.

You must place the sacred ProVari on an alter and gently pass a silver Thurible filled with myrrh for 7 consecutive nights just past sunset.

I mean, come on! The manual with the Sacred Rites is available for download on the ProVape site. Didn't you prepare? I'll bet you forgot to fast too. Newbie.

The reason that there is no box is the same as the reason there is only a PDF manual and not a paper one. There is no reason to be wasteful and send someone a manual and box that are just going to get thrown away. It's just wasteful.

Much like some of the stuff from China, I could polish a turd and put it in a fancy box.....it's still a turd.

I have to say....that you are one of the best reasons to be here on ECF. I love reading your posts ! You are a VERY entertaining read, and an asset to ECF.
Seriously, some of the recent Bobo post had me laughing out loud. My wife is always like...wth ?

Seems to that if someone doesn't like/get The Ocelot, its there problem. I mean, how do you not like The Ocelot ?

It's all good Ocelot. Just wanted to voice my opinion freely on the forum about my purchase. Some people might not voice their true opinion in fear of losing face with others, in that case what is the point of having a forum. To many people my 2 complaints will sound stupid because they have one the best devises out there. From my point of view, I did my home work in advance, read reviews, manual, and asked questions. So when I received it I was ready for the best mentally, I can only start looking at the small things.

Any way, no hard feelings on my part. Thanks again everyone.

Thank you for your kind words. I'll survive. You can't make jokes without some of them falling flat.

I'm glad. I'm truly sorry if it sounded like I was dismissing you. The didn't come in a box surprise is posted so often it's gotten to be funny with me. One would think a ProVari would come in a box at least as good as a Protank. I even have a little plastic box mod that came in a velvet bag. I guess it's a green thing.

I love my ProVari, but love my other mods too. I will never come down on someone for their personal opinion.

I once said I'd rather the money I spent went into making the mod not a box. The OP of that post said I expected more from a ProVari. After my post and they quoted me. I didn't bother with a response figured it was a waste of time. But I'm sure given time the box complainers will get it and be glad the money they spent went into the mod. Heck my first ProVari came from a B&M I didn't even get the bubble wrap.

Minimalist packaging seems to be the norm for the higher end vape gear. My $175 Kayfun came in a ziplock baggie. It seams the better the packaging the crappier the device. I read a statement some where from provape, they said they purposely didn't do fancy packaging or a paper manual to save money and keep the price down as much as possible.
