This is my new kicked tube made with a cheap led flashlight and copper pipe. I used Copper Chloride in Aqueous Hydrochloric Acid Solution to do the etching on the copper and aluminum. This is the first thing I've ever etched and I Couldn't be happier with how it turned out. It should look really good once the copper oxidizes and makes that etching really pop. 3 tries and I still couldn't get the connector hole in the center of the top. It would start centered but by the time I got through it was off. Next time I'll spend some time and make a jig of some sorts.

Nice. Also it is very easy to mod the original switch to be momentary. Makes for an easy mechanical switch.

I don't really care for bottom switches. I originally used the flashlight for that switch to be a master on off but ended up removing it completely because there was about 1 ohm of resistance.
