Making some progress! [emoji2][emoji2][emoji2]

So I'm in the process of wrapping the coil, just nudging it together a bit tighter, and then I hope I left a long enough leg (at the end) to mount it.

Watched a few decent vids about making sure to leave a little room under coil for airflow, and obviously not to touch the deck or posts.

Will check the ohms once this is mounted, but I may actually get my 1st wobbly build out of the way pretty soon after all [emoji323][emoji324][emoji482]

Mounting is tricky, trying to wrap the legs around the posts.

Getting 2.4 ohms which way higher than I intended but I'll persevere and finish it off, and learn from it [emoji1]

It's too loose for sure and a bit lop-sided, and one leg should be a bit longer, but it is glowing from the centre outwards. Takes a little longer to heat up than is have expected but I guess that's the high ohm count?

Yeah. Higher ohms takes longer to heat.

Why is some liquid leaking out from the drip tip when I'm filling it from underneath?

Is your chimney on? =)
If you fill it all the way up some liquid can go through the juice channels and run out through your deck.

Yeah chimney is on and it's not shorted =) Readjusted the coil slightly so it's not fouling the chimney although the wick is right against it.

It's probably barely 1/3 full
