Hi all,

I thought I would let the new vapers know that having nicotine in your e-liquids makes a huge difference for feeling that you are smoking. This may not be relevant to those in the states or UK, but here in Canada many online vendors don't offer nicotine.

I bought a 30ml bottle of 36mg/ml PG from vapables and my first batch using it was with LorAnns cheesecake and some non-nicotine VG that I got from happyvaper with my original pv order.

I kept it simple by doing a 1ml/1ml vg/pg mix plus 10% flavoring. This makes an approximately 18 mg liquid. This is my no means a blend that I will be making again. It needs more flavor, and possibly more VG. But it was MORE SATISFYING than any vaping I did without the PG nicotine liquid.

I'm not sure if a VG nic liquid would be ideal, but I had so much VG it seemed stupid to buy nicotine in vg.

The point: I've heard some people say that it is not PG that gives th, but rather nicotine. I've also heard some say that both PG and nicotine gives th. In either case, my new PG + nicotine liquid has re-kindled my hope for not just my 510, but also vaping in general.

This is nothing compared to some of the success stories that have been posted, but I have foregone two cigarettes to smoke my new blend :)

PS For those of you who have tried the nicorette inhaler, the nicotine vape tastes the same. I recommend getting a flavored liquid or using your own DIY flavors. I have also read that having a tobacco flavor really helps with the act of replacing cigarettes. I'll be ordering some soon and I'll let you all know how that goes.

RE: Nicotine strength- I typically smoke 9 cigarettes a day. I seems that nicotine levels really are relative to more than just what you normally smoked. I tried dripping pure 36mg PG. I didn't get a head ache, but I did get a hell of a head rush after coughing like an SOB. :)

I do think that the TH comes from the nicotine and not pg or vg. I have vaped straight pg no flavoring or nic and there was zero TH and almost zero vapor. Vg was zero TH but lots of Vapor. What I really think is going on is that VG has a tendency to mellow out the TH you get from the nicotine and Pg doesn't. So it seems to me that a small amount of VG is nice if you want plumes of vapor. but too much VG cuts back the TH and is less satifying that way.

Good luck and Happy Vaping.

My nic is 54mg/ml. I have it in both VG and PG base. This is nice when mixing new flavors. If the mix is to thick and weak I can add PG nic to boost it and thin it out and vice versa. I am a menthol man so my standard mixes are easy. I mix 35% 54mg/ml PG with 50% VG and 15% PG and add .02g of menthol crystals. This gives me a mix resulting in 18.9mg/ml of a nice menthol vape.

I get most of my juice 10%pg-90VG due to PG causing me to itch if I smoke it to much.36mg nic and cut it with everclear to thin it and add throat hit.It works for me,vaping is alot of experimenting to find what works for you. That's why I like Freedomsmokeusa they don't thin their juice and you can get 100mg pure nic juice.I sure hope the USA doesn't do some BS like Canada has on the E-cigs.I've been stock piling E-juice just in case.
