After 42 years of smoking 1 to 11/2 pad, open heart surgery, a minor stroke, my wife and son (both non-smokers) and doctors asking me to consider quiting . . . I have. On Nov. 2nd I bought a disposable e cig. Vaped it until it was dead (approx. 24 hrs.) and in that 24 hr. period did not have an analog. I visited my local vape shop after seeing just how fast I was able to lay down the analogs and they were able to provide me with what I refer to as my "life saver" and never looked back.
I'm currently vaping a Joyetech 510-T with RY4 and Marlboro vg juice and I'm still smoke free. I have had absolutly NO desire or "craving" for an analog nor have I had the dreaded withdrawal that can quickly kill almost any attempt to quit smoking.
I knew before I discovered e cigs that I had to quit smoking as it was only a matter of time for me before something even worse than what I had experienced already would happen. I was terrified at the thought of how I would be able to put down a habit and addiction as powerful as smoking having never tried to quit. To my surprise, it wasn't at all as bad as it could have been! As a matter of fact, even in this short amount of time I prefer vaping over smoking already! GAH . . . no wonder the big drug and tobacco companies are upset!
Good to be here and good to be smoke free!
