Finally!!!

I've been sparodically using Kent's stuff since beginning this journey and have been pleased. No complaints at all, but still felt like I was missing something. My gear was the usual PT 2 and PT mini 2 with an Ego style twister battery. Finally got an MVP2 with the same tanks and enjoyed the experience, but that feeling was still there. Well, I've gotten a hcigar Kayfun 3.1 to finally vacuum and wick correctly after a week of fiddling with it and I must say, "I finally GET it! I'm tasting things that were never present before. This juice is AMAZING!

how many wraps and what gauge wire? I'm a total noob when it comes to wrapping. I have all my stuff that arrived (wire, cotton, silica) but just waiting on the kfl. I suspect I will holed up in my office tomorrow when it arrives with the door locked so that no one barges in and questions what I'm doing lol.

Kinggirl,

What is the resistance you are shooting for?

What device will you be using it on primarily?

If said device is a mech, how many watts are you shooting for?

I just want to make sure the info I give is more suited to what your need.

my KFL v2 Black edition should be here tomorrow or friday.. CANT WAIT!!!!

I used RBA's back when I first started a year ago but couldn't get into it.. now with the KFL I feel the need to get back into it..

I've heard that you can still rock 12mg without feeling too overpowered (other RBA's i've heard its best to drop down to 6mg) any thoughts from current KFL users on this?

I vape 6 myself but can handle 12 in a KFL, in fact I just dug out a bottle of 12 last night and filled my 91% and its been terrific. The KFL does tone down the hit a but but I think its moreso that on a tank I rarely go above 20 watts while when I drip I'm usually in the 40-70 range.

Cool man that seems to be the consensus I've been getting from people that 12mg works fine with the KFL. I've been wanting to drop down to 6mg for awhile now but I feel like using rebuildables is the only way I will stick with it.. I have to have a good TH on my juices

I don't know what resistance actually. I feel like I'm going to need to experiment. I anticipate this being a whole new world. When I use protanks now, I can't turn the wattage up without it tasting like burnt pooh. So, I am just hoping for better flavor and a little higher wattage usage with the kfl. I have a vamo, provari, and mvp2 but mostly use the provari. I'm just trying to take information that all of you kind people throw at me so that when mine gets here on Thursday, I'll be ready to try them out. But, the 2 most important things to me will be able to crank the wattage up and at the same time get incredible flavor.

Well played JBT! I keep on this mantra - synergy. A great vape is a synergy between a liquid, a device (mod and atomizer), a build, and a vaper. When all 4 align - the magic happens!

Sounds just about right, but you can sub the NT juice of your choice.
Until it drops again, I'll drip WIR and/or load it into one of my Reo's.

I am looking into the Reo's. I do not like carto's, and my understanding is that is what people top a Reo with. I went to the Reo site and it appears that the Reo's also have toppers. Its all new to me, so I guess I have some research to do. Any tips on the combo to buy would be appreciated. I see the new Reo's will be released soon. Do I now have to stalk that site to score a Reo? Thanks for the help.

Welcome to the Kayfun club... Can be a pain to get working right but once you do, pure vape bliss. It's my on the go device, no leaking, amazing flavor, solid vapor on my Pro vari, cant beat it. Personally think it's the best atomizer period for a regulated device.

Knotin, people who use REO's use bottom fed atomizers, not cartos. Theres a juice bottle in the mod and you sqonk a button and it feeds liquid to your atty on top. Like the Reomizer v2, Chalice, Hornet, to name a few. Basically it's a dripper but hassle-free. Amazing device.

Even if you don't sub ohm, I would wait for the new mod to come out and get a LP Grand. That will allow you to use non bottom fed rda's on it too.

Not to mention the bottom feeding atty market is slowly expanding as more and more people learn of the Reo. VA Cyclone's are available in BF, Origen V2 too and I think the Zenith V2 will also be.
