New vapester here, looking to buy my first kit, been doing tons of research running in circles but i keep ending up here reading threads and what not, i have had questions in some of these threads so i had to become a member and participate. Shockingly most in my investigation into the whole vaping thing was the size of the whole sub culture, was totally blown away. Anyway glad to be here, and howdy to my fellow Canadian vapesters :p

Welcome! I was blown away too! I soon got caught in buying toys, but have since backed off a little, since as a beginner a lot of gear was overkill. My two cents (which I keep repeating) is to start with a basic kit, like a regular eGo, and learning to drip, after which you can move up to a Twist or Provari or whatever.

Sound advice from Ocelot. The only other thought would be some low resistance cartos and a drip tip.

I like the LR306 with the Cannon drip tip from Cherry Vape. The Cannon is big enough that I can drip without my reading glasses. ;) I originally got the LR306 from another vendor, before I learned of the Cannon, but Cherry Vapes sells them together as a kit.

wow thanks for the responses gang, sends my head swimming lol
I guess ill tell you my day to day, i am a plumber and i need to have power all day long, this is why i am looking at a simple 510 t kit with a pcc. i figure i can charge on the go with the chargeable case and can carry a few extra cartridges in the case as well. I do a lot of driving also and don't want something that looks like a pen vaporizer for weed. At home is another issue, i will be buying stuff to make a sweet mod at home after i get something for work. I am determined to quit smoking, i have already had 2 buddies quit smoking now for over a month from e cigs. very excited !

"Most" automatics have an airhole in the battery and when you inhale the sensors activates the battery by way of the sucking action. If juice from the delivery device/ carto gets into the battery it's toast...not as bad as it sounds if one is careful. With manual you puts the vaper in control...if stressed and I need an extra strong hit I hlt the button down longer.

also are auto batteries really that un reliable?
