Well thats the weird thing, the build is a .4ish dual coil build on a tobh atty. I've used it regularly a week ago with no issues. I just got a new tobacco flavor to put in it and changed the wick and angled the coils up a bit. I don't think my clouds are anything to brag about certainly. The only difference is that we had just shut off the ceiling fan last night, and that alarm system is ancient and finicky and tied into the whole house security system. Bloody annoying all around. Hope it doesn't happen again late tonight when I'm steaming away with my drink.

Newer fire alarms use laser beams. They will detect vapor. I've heard of women setting off smoke alarms while spritzing themselves with perfume inside airplane bathrooms.

I'll keep that in mind when we go to upgrade it. Despite my wife's urging, I have no intentions of giving up my new hobby.

Perhaps it had something to do with the humidity? Higher humiliating will cause the vapor to linger longer in the air.

In the meantime, I would keep the ceiling fan on.

That might be it, there was definitely a haze in the house as I was running around looking for something smoldering. Right now, bacon is on the fire and that's not setting it off, so hopefully I'm good for the night.

So...this was a new one, somehow I managed to set off my fire alarm at the other end of the house by vaping. I didnt even realize how foggy it got in here. Took me 15 min just to remember how to shut the dam thing off.

In 2 1/2 years of vaping I have never set off a fire alarm until a few weeks ago after getting a Mutation X dripper and using it with a 0.25 ohm setup and a lot of air flow. Had the same surprise when I came back into the room I was in after dealing with the alarm; wow, lots of vapor. My typical 0.4 ohm setups with a lot less air flow have never done this.

This is BAD news!! We have a no tobacco policy at work and it includes the use of ecigs so I make frequent trips to the restroom where I can lock the door and vape away. We have fire alarms linked to an overhead sprinkler system. If I set that thing off it will lead to a very bad day at the office. Time to find a new place to vape

I was actually vaping at my desk, and most people who walked by just kinda shrugged, and said how nice it smelled. But that was back when I was using a vamo. Then the resident office busybody/killjoy complained to my boss and that but the kibosh on that. Just as well though, gives me an excuse to go out and drip drip drip.

If I were going to vape where it was not allowed I would consider it a stealth vape situation and do my best not to get caught. High PG juice and hold it for a few seconds in the lung to keep the vapor to a minimum. Exhaling into a shirt sleeve or the shirt itself helps too. If you're using nic, use a higher amount so you need fewer drags.

OTOH, if you want to be really sure, finding another place to vape is best :)

Just a Word of Warning.

If you do that at Work while Stealth Vaping, there's gonna be some Splaining needed to be Done.
