Razor, congratulations on your progress. Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. I didn't mean to quit, but I did. There have been times that someone on tv is smoking and I think that it looks sooooo enticing. Then I remember to recommit myself as I don't want my lungs taking in that heavy smoke. True, e-cigs are not like analogs, however, if you don't give up, you'll find yourself enjoying it. If your throat hit isn't what you want, remember that you can get a higher nicotine mg juice. I haven't smoked an analog in 2 1/2 years, and my counter states I have not smoked over 40,000 cigarettes. My blood oxygen level is 98%, and that is after I smoked for 42 years. I don't cough all the time and I no longer wheeze. I've had bronchitis once since I quit and used to have it 2-3 times a year. We know that when you get bronchitis and smoke, there are times you almost cough up a lung. That doesn't happen when you vape.

You are on the right track, Razor, and I encourage you not to give up!

So 2 day mark now and I think my taste is slowly coming back. Noticed orange juice this morning was a little more flavorful and the cherry Amp energy drink tastes different from what I remember as I had only had them while smoking. I know they're bad for you too but let's kill one bird at a time :p

Stardust is amazing imo (although it's the only thing I've tried other than the standard ego-c cartridges). After a day of use I think I may pick a couple more up Monday so I can have 2 with a single flavor (Mango and Menthol) and a mix of the 2 in the 3rd. Got a mix going right now and really diggin' it :vapor:

Important with the stardust to make sure you tip it so the liquid runs onto the wicks and I spin it a few times slowly to make sure they both get liquid good. Only having a little moisture showing in the mouthpiece and some leak onto the battery which I'll chalk up to pulling to fast on it.

I too am new to the forum, and honestly i have no idea how this all works yet. I have quit smoking and looking back it was the stupidist thing i have ever done. but the smartest thing i ever done was to quit. I have been completely smoke free for almost 6 months. I have a boat load of ego twists and clearos that worked fine but i wanna take it to the next level. Vaping hasnt just replaced my smoking, it become my new passion. I find it extremely interesting with the RBA's and have purchased a few recently. The ones i have received are just cheapy china make ones for under $50. I dont know where to look, but where can i find and odysessus, hellfire mini, anything kayfun?? Like i said im new to the forum and dont know where to start looking, google searches render nothing.

I was a pack a day smoker (Marlboro's) for 21 years and discovered vaping. This Wednesday will be one month since my last analog and it took me about a week or two until I lost all desire for a cigarette. Now I cant stand the smell of an analog and dont imagine going back to them ever again. I wish you the very best and hope you can stay with vaping!

So I just happened to look at the battery on my ego-c and it says ego-c upgrade? I only purchased the regular ego-c kit so it has me confused lol. The battery seems to be lasting me a pretty long time, been using the current battery right now since this morning and vaping quite regularly. Is there any way for me to tell exactly how many mah the battery is, because the upgrade comes with 1000mah if I'm correct?

I've got 24mg right now, honestly have no cravings at all much. I think I am still having to adjust to using the e-cig rather than an analog. Taste and smell (or lack thereof) just doesn't seem right...yet.

You might need a WTA (whole tobacco alkaloid) juice to get you over the hump. They have that little bit extra that kills the cravings. Aroma EJuice makes and sells them. They are a bit pricy, but a little goes a long way. Check them out.

Congrats! You are well on your way to a healthier lifestyle, and isn't it nice to get the pleasure of puffing on something and not smelling like an ashtray?

Picked up a Joyetech ego-c this morning and really like it. Totally different experience compared to the cheapo gas station e-cigs. Went to DFW Vapor in Lewisville and they are really helpful. Explained how to use it/put it together and filled up the 5 cartridges with samples. Really like the US Menthol and the Strawberry, just tried the Cherry Cola right now and it is good, got to get the rest of the Menthol out of the atomizer first. Might look at getting a stardust later on, and definitely going to get a bottle of the Menthol. Have a Vanilla Menthol and Juicy fruit to try out still.

Suppose it is important to mention I was a pack a day to pack and a half a day smoker for 6 years so I am using the 18mg liquid right now. I plan on cutting down gradually to 0mg content and if I feel inclined quit vaping all-together, which I am unsure of. It's nice getting to sit in my bedroom and vape away without anyone yelling about smell. I used to go out for a walk/drive to smoke the ciggies. Happy vaping everyone!

Going to the local B&M tomorrow to pick up a couple more stardust. I am having a great experience with the one and only one I've got so want a couple more. I do however need something with a bigger tank, another clearo preferably as I don't think I'm quite ready for the messing around with cartos. Was reading on here about the Kanger MT3 and it seems to have a general consensus that it is a bit too airy for most people. Would y'all be able to give me a few suggestions on bigger tank clearos?

CE2's are good. So are Vivi Nova tanks, though you will want to buy a ego collar to support the tank. Just remember to keep cinnamon and banana flavors out of anything with plastic tanks, as they with destroy them. I think that CE2's are also referred to as stardusts. Always, always have backups. And backups for your backups.

I agree that kanger MT3's are airy, but only on eGo's I'm using one right now on a ProVari with an eGo adapter and it's not airy at all.

They have four air holes in the bottom ring. You can always control the draw by covering up one or two of the airholes with your finger. :)
