Welcome to the forum! I wish you the best of luck with staying away from the cigarettes! I've tried NJoy too, it was actually the first one I tried, because it was so readily available. It was okay, I guess for the price it wasn't a bad introduction to vaping, but coming on here, I quickly realized that I could get a much better experience for not too much more of a hit on the wallet. Vaping is simply what you did when you were trying out those e-cigs! Using a personal vaporizer! But don't let the NJoy be the complete description of it to you, because it can be so much more.

Had my last real cigarette (aka analog) 3 weeks. Not in your head, next week or so is going to suck. (I got nasty acne, starting coughing up big balls of flem crap, sinus infection and insomnia).

Vaping is just the process of using liquid vaporising as a smoking alternatice, so you are vaping if you are using the a NJoy.

What worked was I got e-ciggie that worked for me, got high VG content juice (nice thick vapor) flavored with real tobacco oil with high nicotine content. You will experience some burning from the nicotine but you will get used to it within a day or two. The e-cig is a bit like .........ing, not the real thing but takes care of the cravings and leaves you satisfied afterwards.

After the withdrawal symptoms went away I drank a bit to much and lit up one of my brother's cigarette (same as my old brand), it was as if I was smoking for the first time. Tasted like burnt donkey ..., I threw up after 2 drags and now with vaping never craved a cigarette again.

Smoker for 15 years, quit 2 weeks ago thanks to a Blu disposable e-cig I got at Walgreens instead of my regular pack of analog cigarettes.

By accident or not I quit analogs (for good this time) a little insomnia but not letting it bother me too much.

The taste when you find the e-liquid (juice) (all day vape), will be an awesome day.

Don't go back to analogs, stick with it!!! I feel better than ever.

Setup right now Provari + Z-Atty Pro w/ Cinammon Roll e juice from MBV

First misconception you need to break is the notion of "real cig" versus "fake cig".

Vaping is the act of inhaling flavored nicotine in a solution of pg, vg or a mixture of both and offers a ton of benefits over smoking that can be found by searching these forums.

Some of us call cigarettes "analogs" to refer to the fact that they are an outdated method of delivering nicotine. It may be helpful to view vaping as evolving or finding a better way to get your fix.

I view cigarettes as the fake and vaping as the real (and much smarter) deal now.

Welcome to the forums and congrats on taking the first steps to a healthier life.

I started off with Blu and quickly found that it was not enough to keep me off analogs. I purchased a good setup and don't even think about lighting up. In fact, the smell of analogs is so vile to me right now, I can't even stand being around it.

welcome to the wonderful world of vaping and congrats on quitting today will probably be the hardest day your mind will tell you its not working but if you tell yourself no matter what and no matter how much I have to suck on this imitation looking device I am not going to light up a real cig. I promise you it gets easier.. Going from 2 packs aday My first day was with a ego stick battery and clearomizer I remember sucking on that thing so much I went through 2 refills and killed one battery from not knowing how to use it right LOL !! but the next morning I reached for my PV versus a analog and havent looked back. Their is a ton of people on ECF that will give you the help and support you need to no only quit analogs but be able to do it without breaking the bank. Good luck and " Happy Vaping"

I put down the analogs for about 6 months with the Blu starter kit, with a combination of their cartos and some from Jet Cigs. Don’t recall what caused the relapse, but I lit up again, however I was able to stay with a 1-1.5 packs a week, usually 2 or 3 on most days. My first post was about the NJoy Kings because I started using it instead of those 2 or 3 a couple weeks ago, and so far, so good, that high nic content addresses the cravings quite well after 3 or 4 hits. If only they’d put 2 or 3 of them in that plastic box.

Greetings from New Joisey!
I was in the same boat as you, in many ways.

Question for you .......
If you could get your nicotine 'fix', a very similar 'smoking experience', a choice of hundreds of different flavors of 'smoke', a choice of many different kinds of cigarettes to hold / play with....lol, and a 'smoke' that is likely to be hundreds if not thousands of times safer than regular cigarette smoke (instead of a regular cigarette, where your brand is one single flavor, in one shape, and the smoke is very dangerous), which one would you choose?

I only ask it because this is basically the same question I asked myself after I smoked my first couple of e-cigarettes. For me, the answer was very easy (MUCH easier than I thought possible) and very logical. I can honestly say, though, that I can hardly believe I have been off cigarettes for going on 2 months....
Sincerely hope this helps you in some way, and that the answers are easy for you! Good luck....

welcome to ecf. congrats on your decision to vape. i smoked 45 years....and will never do it again....is my plan. you will have lots of support here. me and hubby got off the stinkies 5 months ago with the convenience store things, then got to this forum and found better equipment that didn't break us. you can do this. focus on the ones you didn't smoke, not the ones you did. best of luck to you, and we are here if you need us.

Congratulations!

As others have said, don't be discouraged if you are not feeling satisfied right away. I too started with something similar to the NJoy, and it wasn't until I found this site and upgraded a bit that I finally knew I had smoked my last analog (thank you Ego Twist). You can literally tailor you experience right down to the intensity of the throat hit, the amount of vapor produced, whether or not the vapor is warmer or cooler, etc. While the information can be incredibly overwhelming, know that there are options out there for everyone in my opinion.

Good luck to you. We have your back! I have only been a part of this community/forum for a short period of time, but already I feel very welcomed and at home here. There is a ton of support and always someone willing to answer a fellow vaper's question.
