I started with a 510 a couple of weeks ago and I haven't had a single cigarette since. Congrats on making the move, and welcome to the forum!

That's really why I took the plunge. I tried all of the other options and never could stick with it. The reports here suggest it is a great way to transition off cigarettes.

Welcome to the group.
I started with a 510 over a year ago, and only recently upgraded to the eGo. I still love my 510 and use it quite often, although the battery time is not good enough for taking to work.
That first day free of analogs is a big step. Just wait until next week when you post that you have not had any for a week.

To me, what's even better is being able to vape inside. The weather in Denver is about as schizophrenic as one can get... I had four inches of snow in the yard 2 days ago... All gone now... But I rejoiced in the fact that I didn't have to go outside to smoke.

Vapin in the car is also a +. At my desk at work (when I actually go into the office) EVEN BETTER!!!!

I gotta tell ya, this ain't bad. I've tried to quit million times. I've done the patches, the gum the mints, you name it. By the end of the first day I was crawling the walls. Right now, I feel great.

I wish I had found out about this a long time ago. If I had not seen that episode of Stosell, I never would have known about these things.

Hey good work GG - I'm 12 days in now and stopped carrying my tobbacco around with me (just in case) around day 5 - E-cigs just take over as a better alternative they're much more enjoyable it just takes the brain a while to catch on. You did the right thing joining the ECF the people on here are fantastic and will help you along your way with any questions or tips you need. And it means you get to send nice messages to people in a weeks time who are in the position you are in now :)

All the best

I'm new to this as well. I had my last cigarette 3 and a half days ago. I didn't even plan for it to be my last. I figured I'd pick up another pack as a "just in case" thing, but I just haven't really had a need to. Here's a tip if you don't smoke inside: I've found that the couple of times during the day I start thinking about smoking instead of vaping, I can just get up and go outside where I used to smoke and vape there instead of inside. Turns out I wasn't actually craving a cigarette...I was just craving getting off my .... and getting some fresh air.
