UPDATE: Just got my new "equipment" (KGO battery and dual coil cartomizers) and DYI Juice from cousin! vaping "champagne apple" and can actually TASTE it! Getting some good vapor so far (KGO battery has to be charged for 8 hours so I'm using the cartos on my regular 510 battery.) Must admit, filling those things is going to take loads of practice since most of the juice leaked out through the hole onto my jeans at first lol! Thanks, all, for your help, encouragement and wealth of information! Hopefully, now, I won't be craving an analog this weekend!!!!!

Forgot to add... Not sure about the KGO battery - gonna look like I'm puffing on a giant silver cigar lol. So I'm not sure how I'll adjust to that at first. And I wanted to ask how long a full carto generally lasts? I've read so much that I forgot what I read lol! I also found out that the juice I got from VTVAPOR is too thick to fill a carto (it won't absorb it). So, hubby's getting those :) . BTW, I think I WAS tasting plastic from the "tank"!

I too have an EGO T, I hated that tank atomizer thing, kept flooding, and no possible solution to fix w/o some long drawn out cleaning process. I got a tank carto type thing and am much happier now. IDK if this has been mentioned, but a slow draw on it seems to produce better effects than smoing it like a cig. Im about 2 months in it now, and have lefet the real cig alone for about 2 weeks.

So are you using cartomizers now? Yeh, I have to get used to not doing it "like I'm smoking!". That's kinda difficult right now... only been a week for me and have already spent close to $300 LOL

Here is what I have come to find is the best without breaking the bank. I have 3 eGo batteries, two are the 1000mah, and one 1000mah pasthrough from cignot. The passthrough is way better convenience and quality wise. I use Mega Dual Coil Cartomizers from madvapes $2.50/ea. And I vape backwoodsbrew! This has been the best vaping configuration after one and a half years of vaping from the 510 dripping to ego tanks ... 3.7v to 5v to 6v.. If you are interested in 6volt vaping, these eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartos are awesome! So just get a 510 to eGo adapter for you 6v mod and you are in business! Good luck, and do your research before making a purchase.

Welcome to ECF! This place is full of great information, but it can be very overwhelming at first. We have a New England Vapers group here New England Vapers, and we have a New England Vapers facebook group.

One of the best ways to try new stuff is to go to a vape meet. We have meetings on the second Sunday of each month at Jillian's in Worcester. Which means that the February meet is TODAY! We love helping newbies, so I hope you can make it to one of our meets. There are a few excellent vendors who usually bring samples, it's a great way to try out stuff and get face to face advice. Feel free to post questions in the New England Vapers subforum or on Facebook.

Cheers!

after buying 5 boge cartomizers and 5 atomizers... 3 days later, saw fluxomizers from gotvapes and had to order 5 of them bad boys to put on my ego battery for on the go! man they really hit the spot... it seems like im stuck in a never ending buying mode!

If you take care of those Fluxomizers you can get a couple months out of them at least, maybe a little more, maybe a little less. Be careful with the wiggle technique. You may wind up the proud owner of one of these if you don' IMAG0449.jpgt.
