Let's wait for the facts to come in before we jump to conclusions.

This is a case where I'd say feel comfortable saying: there are no *facts* to wait for.

Probably some kid posting on a FB page. It's like telling ghost stories out in a tent in your parent's backyard. You know how they are.

I checked out the poster's page, it's an older(50's maybe) woman, with plenty of FB history and such. Either someone instructed her to make a "personal" post about the evils of vaping, or she's woefully misinformed, or both.

This was my thought aswell. This if anything sound most likley.
I've seen plenty of posts here from new members asking about some seriously inadvisable stuff. That's one thing that's always scared me. Some people, because they either don't want to go buy something, or maybe they can't afford it, or whatever, could decide to do a lot of things that could turn out really bad. And of course vaping would be blamed, even though what they're doing wouldn't technically be vaping.

Yea same here and in this case, she could have taken the wrong bottle by mistake or just tried using the aroma oils because she thought it would be the same thing.

Unless it's all a hoax...

I don't think it is a hoax - sounds more like misinformation to me. Or perhaps, you know, the telephone game... one person says one thing, the next changes it slightly, and on and on till the original messages is lost completely. The poster, whose page I did visit, did seem like one of those persons who believe anything they are told without question. I have a lot of those types of "friends" on FB and have met hundreds of them on other boards. I know how they think (or is that, do not think :) )

That sounds pretty plausible. I read the comments on her post, and it seemed like. Bunch of well intentioned but ignorant people.... the one about calling some lady's husband to tell him to tell her to quit was a bit humorous.

first off.... oil??? what juice company puts oil in the juice?? juice is water soluable....
secondly... what quack of a Dr. would mistake VG/PG for an oil?

and, why dont people who work around deep fryers all day die from inhaling the oil vapor?

Not entirely right to say this if there's an actual someone involved. However, sounds like a contender for the Darwin awards.

I'm comforting myself with this (also made-up) idea that for every fake and/or unrelated death we hear about, there are possibly 100.000 children who gets to spend extra time with their vapin' grannies - who otherwise would have choked on cigs.

Edit: Oh wait. Not enough sentimentalism. Children who get to learn important life skills and life lessons from their own bloodline. To carry on the proud tradition. Learning to become a better human being and help shape a better future for all of mankind.

Is this even important? The Internet is full of bull.... like that. I can't imagine how many times I went to Facebook and read a post saying a famous actor died. Later I discover that it's not true. I guess some people just don't have anything better to do with their time than spread false information. The problem is online any shocking information easily goes viral.

Besides, any good e-liquid shouldn't contain oil.
