Wow! Thank you everyone. Based on the feedback I received here, I plan to place my first order for juice this week and give vaping another shot. Being a menthol smoker, I'm going to try FSUSA's Newport menthol...hopefully the tobacco element of this flavor isn't too strong/sweet. It's a 50/50 mix so hopefully this will dilute some of the chest/throat harshness. Also greencity's reply led me to Vaporite.com where they have a "design your own menthol"! Trying to decide between the 70 VG/30 PG mix or the 100% VG. If I go the 100% route, should I up my nicotine level? I originally started with 11mg being a half-a-day smoker. And lastly, for juice, I'm curious about Halo but can't seem to find their VG/PG ratio. With a juice plan in place here some other questions:
1: Ordering juice is all new to me. I originally assumed that I would just be ordering cartomizers for my V4L Shorty and would eventually work my way up to filling cartomizers. Since I'm here already without much vaping experience, can anyone recommend a good quality blank cartomizer for a KR808 Shorty (D1?)? The V4L CoolCart's sound like they would be exactly what I'm looking for...something to cool the heat, but I've read mixed reviews. If there are other similar cooling carts out there I'd be interested in hearing about those. Maybe longer cartomizers?
2: Emptying & Refilling unused Cartomizers? With my V4L Shorty Starter Kit I have about 10 prefilled cartomizers. Mostly menthol and some coffee flavors. I've sampled 5 of those but they are I'd say 85% full of their original China juice. I realize most refill finished flavor carts. But, since I'm ordering blank cartomizers, is it worth it to empty, clean and refill these used and unused carts? Is emptying a practically full cartomizer and cleaning a hassle?
3: Whistle tip cartomizers or adaptors? Does anyone make a whistle tip cartomizer that will easily fit a KR808 Shorty battery?
4: Does anyone make a good USA made VG>PG menthol KR808 cartomizer? I know I'm trying the juice with blanks but am curious about this.
Thanks again for all of your help. I look forward to checking back in tomorrow.
