Been workin on this one for a bit now-I like the hexagon shape of the light as it won't roll off my desk and bounce on the floor (saves crawlin' around looking for it too). Takes A 18650, a 14500, or can use the factory 3 AAA pack (NiMh) in a real pinch. I picked it up at Harbor Freight for about $5-also has a removable top so it was easier to work with. I decided to go with the RCA connector so I can use any of my atty/cart combinations as well. Vapes monster clouds too at 3.7 v :D. Got more coming....

Sorry-couldn't get my attachments to work any other way...

It's a beauty Guitarslinger!..

I picked one up the other day, was determined to make a 5volt booster...but Damn! Damn! Damn! ..there's no way I can get that booster chip in there.
Well don't get hung up the the standard length batteries, there are lots of shorter ones that may give you some room.

If you are boosting this 18500 might give you the room (15mm shorter) than the standard 18650 as an example.
