First Magnum Type Mod

Been workin on this one for a bit now-I like the hexagon shape of the light as it won't roll off my desk and bounce on the floor (saves crawlin' around looking for it too). Takes A 18650, a 14500, or can use the factory 3 AAA pack (NiMh) in a real pinch. I picked it up at Harbor Freight for about $5-also has a removable top so it was easier to work with. I decided to go with the RCA connector so I can use any of my atty/cart combinations as well. Vapes monster clouds too at 3.7 v . Got more coming....

This flashlight was my first attempt at a flashlight mod. I made the mistake of drilling too far down and ran into the threads of the tube. Really cool light. I may go get another one and do it right this time.

Thanks everyone-without all your help woulda never figured it out, lol. Actually, afa tough goes, I bounced it off the concrete twice already (not on purpose btw) and it wtill works fine, lol. My intention was to maybe make a 5 v also, but there just isn't a lot of room left with the 18650 battery. Cheers......

I just finished my first mod, a Niko stick. I've been looking for the next and I think I'll order this light today. Think i'll stick with the 510 as the atty. Link to flashlight is still good. Thanks and Nice..... really nice Guitarslinger!

Well don't get hung up the the standard length batteries, there are lots of shorter ones that may give you some room.

If you are boosting this 18500 might give you the room (15mm shorter) than the standard 18650 as an example.
