I have never understood the want people have with mods. I mean I have built them, I do own a few, and I have really never understood the fascination. If you love and I mean love to build things then mods and attys are for you. I found myself working on mine more than vaping. Maybe that is an exaggeration but you will work.

I would rather grab something like my Innokin 134 mini throw a tank on it and vape on if I want to look good. But more often than not I find myself using my vv 3 more than anything.

And dripping is WAY too much time and energy for me.

well for me clearos were NEVER a good enough vape. I need/want the freedom to build my own the way I WANT IT...and get amazing vapor and flavour. Clearos are ok for newbs...but not for anyone who's been vaping for a few months or more in my opinion

thanks a bunch guys. yeah, i don't have a device that's only function is to read ohms, but i got a mod that can read em. i understand it reads them accurately, too. i'm assuming that's good enough? maybe not the most ideal thing ever, but acceptable? and also, about not going sub-ohm immediately, that was my plan. i am actually thinking about buying an rda and putting it on my mvp 2.0. i figured i'd build two 3.0 ohm coils to start, so it ends up being 1.5 and just crank the sucker up, then once i get a feel for all that, start experimenting with coils and building them lower. i suppose that once i hit the 1.3 mark (i've been told the mvp won't fire under that) and am comfortable in my ability to wrap coils and all that, THAT is when i will buy a mechanical mod and batteries. probably a better plan than just jumping out the gate with a mech and rda all at once.

101vape has some bad*** looking clones in the the $20-$40 range and some tobh atties for about $15. Prolly gonna go with them, get the tobh and then grab a mech mod, battery and charger for like $60 more. Sounds like a good way to get started. And yes, the tobh decision is pure vanity, I just think it looks sick as ****.
