I was having trouble in the mornings not reaching for the pack to get my day going. Before vaping I would smoke 4 or 5 analogs with my coffee just to get out of bed! Been about three weeks of vaping on a DSE 901 (80% analog reduction) and a week with an eGO. I knew I had a better shot with the eGO on my very first hit with it..just still couldn't get past that morning analog.

Had recently ordered a 24mg nic juice from my fave supplier, and used that this morning as a top up on a blank cart for the first time. I feel satisfied and ready for work! Incredible. I normally use 18mg juice or lower.

Now, I just need 5 more posts so I can add my banner. Might be a little too excited right now, it is only one day, but it is a triumph for me. Had two analogs yesterday. Would have smoked a pack on a Sunday being home all day.

Thanks for reading and have a great day. Out the door tobacco free for the first time in..sheesh a decade??

Congrats!

I think it was hard for all of us to get over the cig with coffee thing.... it was like the ultimate wake up mix, (or the ultimate run to the bathroom mix) but eventually you will find a juice flavor that compliments your coffee really well, and all will be right with the world again.

also, Huge NIN fan here. I still have the Broken Mini CD that came with it all those years ago :2cool:

Congrats! I too find that I have the most trouble in the morning. If I get past that I am ok for the day. If I give in then I am having a few others throughout the day. However, I still consider it a success as I am not smoking the 3 PAD I was before starting to vape.

Good luck and best wishes on your quit.

Absolute congrats. I was a 2pack/25years smoker just a couple months ago. 2 months now without the analogs and don't miss 'em. What helps me in the morning is a freshly charged eGO with a nylon drip tip and 3-4 drops of my richest tobacco flavor (State Express 555.) I get that full flavor bustin' into my mouth, killer throat hit, plenty of vapor, and now I'm ready to get my coffee on. I wish you continued success.. you are saving a buttload of money, or at least you will be once you get your juice favorites narrowed down.

Congratulations! Good job! That's Great News!....Now that I got that out of the way (not that I don't mean it, I do) but I must say, GET RID OF THE ANALOGS!!! If your goal is to vape instead of smoke, then you can really help yourself by not having analogs to reach for in the morning. If you have reservations about actually giving them up, then you won't give them up. Make a definite decision and then take action on that decision by getting rid of them. Like they say "if you keep hanging out in that barber shop, eventually you will get a hair cut". If you still can't get yourself to get rid of them, try keeping them in the trunk of your car and keep a PV where you usually keep your analogs.

Thank you so much everybody for the terrific support.

Now I am home on lunch break..another time I would smoke my brains out with analog's. Not today..just going with the 24mg again..and feeling fine.

Next 24mg time is right after work when I get home for the night. Then will start stepping it down through the evening from 18mg to 11mg at bedtime...
