I've been reading up on builds to improve flavor. I intentionally purchased this wire a while back to test out builds but something I feel is not right. Either the calculator, user error, or wire? I was expecting 0.16 but it ended up being 0.08.
Or 7 wraps parallelNo idea but i count 14 wraps
As long as you understand and it works for you, I guess thats what matters. This isn’t my strong suit yet but I’m sure there’s plenty of help on here. So, don’t be afraid to ask if it still doesn’t work for you. I know @Necrospecter has a bit of experience building and there’s a lot more here. Some days (and times) theres fewer people on here but you can usually always get help. I’ll be surprised if you don’t get a lot more replies. Best of luck!I was counting the amount of times I wrapped the wire on the jig. I think I see what I did. Ty all. Hangs head in shame. Lol.
I tried wraps each coil. Target I put was .20 because. .5 addled for to many wraps. Well it came out to .05. The alien told me don't abuse protections. What am I doing wrong. Think I'm goin to throw I throw towel.
The one in the picture. It was cheap so I can mess up and not worry over lost wire. Recounting I did 8. Thought it was 6.What wire are you using? what gauge?
Never throw your towel a good hitchhiker should never be with out it
I get that message if I change atomizers while the screen is turned off. It doesn't realize that it's a new coil, doesn't ask if it's a new coil, just assumes I'm playing games and tells me not to. Solution is to detach the atomizer, push the fire button, and then reattach. The alien told me don't abuse protections.

...I still don't know how your calculator was coming up with 6 wraps. I used Steam-Engine and also got 13 wraps, like the others have posted. (15mm seems a bit excessive for leg length, but I get 13 wraps either way, with a difference of only .02Ω/coil calling it 5mm instead.)
It is 12 she is doing 6 wraps with both wires is 12 wraps but for some people like me you tell me 12 wraps and my mind tells me to wrap both wires 12 times which would be 24 and no way would that fit or be Ω I was looking for.
That's what I'd call "7 wraps" (Or 6/7, or 6.5, since the legs both come out the same end.) Is that not right? If the two strands were twisted together before coiling them up, it'd be called 7 wraps. Steam-engine calls it 7 wraps. Besides, if that was supposed to be called 14, and she was supposed to done half that, then her resistance wouldn't be too low, it would be too high. I still don't see how her calculator came up with 6 wraps for .16 ohm...

I'm going with her calculator is broken. What she did, looks correct, to me, for how I would interpret the instructions she got from the calculator (6 wraps -- I would have gone 6/5 instead of 7/6 with the half-wrap, but that's immaterial.) What she got (.08 ohms) looks correct, to me, for the coil she built (dual, parallel, 3mmID, 7/6 wrap SS316L) according to steam-engine. Why her calculator thought that coil would come out .16 (in a dual configuration -- it would come out .16, with just one of them), is a mystery to me. That requires (what I and steam-engine call) 13 wraps. Even if her calculator counted it the "other" way, and counted individual loops of wire -- it should have told her to put 26 loops (13 wraps/wire * 2 wires/coil), not six?Maybe I am using steam engine for parallels wrong then
Unless she is not selecting dual coil but that still not work out right...
