Hello everyone, I've been getting into vaping lately after deciding to quit Dokha. I'm not getting into it for the nicotine, but rather just for the convenience and the different flavors available. I've been doing a lot of research anywhere I can, and was looking at the following setup:

joyetech 18650 2200mah
Vivi Nova

My main concerns are have a battery that lasts awhile, and easy maintenance/parts swap/filling of the clearomizer. Anybody have this setup or can recommend a similar setup for under $75 or so? I really like the Halo Triton as well, but would like something larger and with a less proprietary setup with the threads, etc. Thanks!!

I would say that is a good battery choice, but instead of the Vivi Nova I would suggest a Kanger Protank with some extra low resistance replacement heads. If you want a variable voltage mod I would recommend a Vamo or SID. Hope this helps

Protank looks awesome, like the glass tank. How is it with the Joyetech 18650, roughly same diameter or so?

When I helped my friend get his first setup, I wish it was the one I started with and will recommend it to every new vapor. Please get a Protank 2, a VV 1300 mah battery (Vision Spinner, or Smoktech Winder), a charger, and some high quality e liquid. You might even want to get an extra tank or two. Some great, cheaper tanks are the Kanger Evods, or the iClear 16s. Good luck and happy vaping!

Well, I found a local shop that had a Kamry K100 and the Protank 2 in stock. It seems bulletproof, just what I was looking for. Got a 16350 and 16850 battery for it. Any negatives on this model?

I picked up a pack of extra coils as well. I had started with a cheap $30 imperial setup and their e-juice. Didn't care for it. This one is sooooooooooooo much better. :2cool:

I'd recommend the SID with an ARO BCC and some extra heads.

As for batteries highly recommend the Panasonic High Drain NCR18650PD, they are rated at 2900mah for long charge life and a 10 amp draw rating so they can handle anything a VV device can throw at it.

For a charger get a you can't go wrong with an Xtar.

Good choice for the battery. Ive had nothing but good experiences with Joyetech brand products. I recommend the innokin MVP as well for a battery.

Protank 2s are OK. My husband has been having a blast with them after i stuck in a longer wick and re wired it.
However if you are die hard Vivi Nova fan like me, i recommend the Vision Vivi Nova V fate tank. It is the metal/glass version of the regular Nova. More room to play with reactive juices with a glass tank than the regular polycarb Nova.
