Attys have a fluid in them when they are brand new that keeps them from drying out before and while they're being shipped. If you didn't blow the atty out really well before you used it, then it will taste nasty until that fluid is gone. You need to hold a tissue under the
thread end and blow into the mouthpiece end really well, several times to get that fluid out. Then, turn it over and do the same thing to the other end: blow
through the hole in the
threaded end holding the tissue over the mouth end. Then drip a couple of drops of liquid on the atty, fill the cart and put it on...even then on the first two or three puffs you should not inhale it. After all that shipping fluid is out, it should taste fine. Did you blow out your atty before you used it? That's all I can think of.
