first time "DIY"er looking for advice

I am looking for advice on a supplier.

For starters I am looking for a one stop shop, for my first order ,. I am looking for a supplier where I can buy everything I need to start, ie; nic, pg&vg, flavor, mixing supplies bottles ect...
Also if one of you guys has a checklist so to speak for the things i will need to start.

I am looking at about 500ml of 100mg/ml nic which I will dilute and freeze some.so 250ml bottles to cut the nic . I am probably gonna start with 1L of each PG and VG.

The suppliers i have looked at so far are heartland vapes, e-cig express,vaping zone, rts and my freedom smokes.

I have read alot, and i mean alot, on how to do this. So i think i will be good on actually mixing and such. I am mainly looking for recomendations on suppliers , and possibly insight on things i might forget about ordering .

I should probably include that the reason for the large quantity is i will be mixing with and or for myself and my two grown sons

Any input will be greatly appreciated

After checking out those links I'm debating between Wizard Labs and Vapor Shots.. I'm probably just gonna go w/ Wizard cuz they have more blueberry flavorings. I wanna try the Blueberry Extra cuz I've heard the normal one is kinda weak.

I use wizard labs. Although you say first time and want to go get 100mg base. You might want to rethink that or at least understand the cautions that need to be observed. The above stuff was good info with all the links. Good luck and happy vaping!

Thanks for the replies .
The main reason I am looking at the 100mg is mainly for the sake of price and ease of use.

I do understand the danger and plan on taking the appropriate safety measures. Also I plan on reducing to 50mg and freezing the majority of it in amber glass bottles.

I have read a ton ,including the above recommended articles. And I am sure I will haveno issues with the mixing .

Looks like mfs has most of the supplies I need
I will most likely use them for my first order.

I've used My Freedom Smokes for bottles, syringes, nic base, PG, VG and a few flavors. I have been very satisfied with everything from MFS. (I buy my flavors from TFA and FW......which MFS also carries but at smaller sizes)

Wizard labs sells the lorann, seedman, tfa and pfa. Bottles are about .50 a piech. Glass 30 mil are about a buck a piece.

I use Wizard Labs & Nude Nicotine. I recently ordered my PG from Essential Depot off Amazon but had previously gotten a small bottle from Nude Nicotine. I get my VG from the Walmart pharmacy but if I were to make larger amounts or use more VG than PG, I would also order it from Essential Depot. Flavorings came from Wizard Labs but I also had many fruit & mints from local grocery stores that I was all ready using for cakes & lemonade boosters.

I gave up on the one stop shopping idea. I am just too much of a tightwad. Shipping charges are a necessary evil but I will walk away from a good sale if the vendor tries to make up his profits with exorbitant shipping fees. I enjoy hunting down the bargains.

The thought also crossed my mind about getting 100mg just for the best deal, but I only vape like 10 mL a wk. I have some previous chemistry experience, so I'm not worried about mixing it down to 20mg, but if I made 500 mL that's possibly a year's worth. Would it keep that long? How do you guys store your supplies? What I'd want to do is mix it down w/ a proper PG/VG ratio and keep it unflavored, and then just start experimenting w/ small batches of 5-10 mL. But I wouldn't want my main unflavored bottle to possibly lose potency or go bad after a while. Do you guys have any tips for that aspect?

For suppliers HighDesertVapes has been my main go-to for over a year now, theres also OneStopDIYShop, ECigExpress and DIYFlavorShack. Not sure about the last one but the first 3 sites carry PG/VG, nicotine as well as bottles, pipettes and gloves. They have a lot of great flavors to choose from and you can buy in small sizes before committing to the larger more expensive sizes. No matter what kind of flavors you like I really suggest getting a bottle of sweetener, just a drop or two makes juices even better!

I did get some good news today ...my work will take me to a job 2 hours north , the good part is it the same town where the vape shop which makes my favorite flavor is ...lol

Watermelon rancher flavor from "cravin vapes" I have yet to find anything even close to this stuff. It tastes just like the candy...I have tried many other versions and none I like... which is what got me started on this journey to make my own cause a two hour drive to get juice sux , unless I am getting paid to drive and make a stop along the way .

Sweetener sweetens. EM can do many things and sweeten is just one of them. I wouldn't call EM a sweetener.

There is a long thread on just that subject somewhere in this sub-forum. It's a tool to be aware of and have on hand, like EM, but also like EM it's not the whole toolbox.
