I've been looking at ecig express too. For some reason they don't have hangsons and their nicotine is more expensive. Next order will try them. For now trying:
Hangsons RY4
Euro Flavor American blend
Nicotine River Vanilla (just because it's cheap)
You did see the starter kit? I use the buckets it comes in for washing bottles, and the syringes are useful when measuring 100mg nic, with a scale of course. Add one item, and you get free shipping, and discount codes usually work on it when they run sales.

My favorites have been from the Super Concentrate (SC) line and Hangsen (HS). Currently have Blended tobacco, Island tobacco, and Seven from (SC) in my rotation. I use many more, the only tobacco that I really did not like from SC was Parley, had an odd sweet aftertaste for me and tossed it. Usually mix these at no more than 3% as I feel they get funky with more than that.

Also have had USA Red (HS) in my daily rotation for years. Usually add either Virginia Tobacco Absolute (INW), Garuda Tobacco Absolute (INW), and DNB (INW) to my blends to add more of a tobacco punch or ash note from the DNB.

Some the pipe tobacco flavors are too much. Am4A I would only be able to use at such a low concentration it wouldn't clog/gunk anything. A lot of these flavors are really strong. Seems to me 3% of SC flavoring could take your head off. Tobaccos can be the best for light flavorings where nothing sticks out, to get tired of.

I need to try more Stixx Mix flavors, but I see Nic Riv doesn't carry them and the price has gone up. Actually, what is happening with tobacco extracts? I recently had to order from Ina in Poland to get my mandatory TAs. I use natural flavors to add that "natural" sort of taste a lot of the time, at low strength.

My favorite synthetic(?) base is Hangsen Virginia, but I don't really like their RY4 etc. Decent by itself but I mostly use .1-.3% plus something else. For example Purilium Sweet Tobacco .3% (3 drops in 25 ml), with .2 HV.

    Some hits and misses:
TFA M-type - useful but requires predilution as you don't want to exceed 1 drop per 100 ml.
INA/TDM 555 Gold and French Pipe -- sometimes useful basic flavors. The 555 is very nutty and I've superceded its use with Pur Sw Tob.
SC Cohiba -- about as pipe-y as I can go. Very good.
TFA Western -- wonderful intense except it gets old, stale tasting in 3 days.
TFA Turkish -- promising but kind of strong, I haven't messed with it much.
FA Virginia and 7 Leaves -- extreme floral note, adds a good hoppy top at .1%
FA Soho -- sort of dry but good RY4, actually needs a long steep (1 week).
TFA RY4D -- not spectacular but use it a lot
FA RY4 -- a little less sweet but similar
TFA RY4 asian -- good but caramel aftertaste. Seemed like a add to RY4s at first though.
TFA RY4 orig -- awful roses
INA Dark Tobacco -- good pipey
INA Maxx Blend -- weird, old shoe
    Desert Ship -- weird/old shoe
    FA Glory -- old shoe
    dktab -- old shoe
    capalla bold -- fizz

The only one I have found that tastes anything like Tobacco is Wrangler from VapeWild. I don't know why every other one has been nothing like Tobacco to me, guess just my weirdness ;)
I also find VapeWild Wrangler satisfying as a tobacco vape. It also tastes like AP but with the addition of something with a bit of bite - maybe something like FA Flash(piperene). VapeWild only sells Wrangler as an e-juice or a pricey booster, which I guess is like a one-shot.

Don't neglect to check DIY : Good Deals and Sales !

My personal favorite when it comes to tobacco flavors are:
1)Soho by Flavor Art-- very good after 3 days. I tend to like it more in the 3-14 day window so I make it in smaller batches.
    2) Red Burley by Flavorah-- I love to use this with both other tobaccos and flavors. It is such a good mixer.
    3) Sweet Tobacco by Purilum-- I just started using this one and it is very good.
4)555 Gold by Inawera-- similar in some ways to Soho, but not exact. It's a tasty standalone.
    5) Kentucky Blend by Flavorah-- this is another good mixer and it goes very well with red burley.

mcclintock, thank you... very detailed descriptions (soho sounds good)
brewdawg, I was already reading that thread... good stuff!
Skeebo (and others) just how sweet is "sweet tobacco" by Purilum? It's popular, but the main reason I'm doing tobacco flavors is to get away from too much sweet.
Walter Ladd, any specific suggestions? Sounds expensive. Or are talking about making your own?

Purilum sweet tobacco isn’t very sweet at all. It’s a light tobacco and I taste like a nutty flavor but I may be the only one. I’ve been using it for almost a year and it’s my favorite tobacco flavoring. Hell I liked it so much I bought 500ml’s after trying it for a few days. It mixes very well with TFA pistachio for a nutty vape or you can mix it with a stronger tobacco if you find it’s too light. I like Purilum sweet T at 5-6% when combining it with a couple other flavorings or 7-8% as a stand-alone. Anyway good luck mixing and let us know if you come up with something tasty.

madstabber, you totally got me interested in Purilum.
I've decided to be patient and hopefully order several different brands. It's kinda funny... a while back I got real excited when I first tried Vapetasia Killer Kustard (I also had some fun adding different fruit flavors to it) but then I totally got burnt out on sweet juices. The only tobacco juices I've tried are Naked American Patriot and some house brand from vaping.com. Really looking forward to trying these!

Pur sweet tob is good and there vanilla tob is also pretty good. Like most blends of that type they lack real tobacco notes. More in the RY4 catagory. I would make sure you have at least FLV Kentucky blend and red burly as additives just to kick up the tobacco notes. If your on a budget I would get those first as flv isnt cheap but you use such small percentages it balances out.

If you like pistachios, TFA pistachio and PUR sweet tobacco is really a pretty hot combo. Like dc says, it lacks tobacco notes, I just call it a light tobacco but it’s really good and works well as a base flavor. You can add some nutty flavors, tobacco flavors if you want that, coffee flavor, or bakery flavors. Mix some up by itself to see if you like it and if so then try adding different flavors you think would work well. Hell I think fruits would work with it, it’s just a fantastic base flavor to build upon and add layers on. Best of luck and like I said, if you come up with something delicious, come back and share it with us.

Walter, this is DIY form... I assume those are pre-made juices, but still very interested. I like that they offer higher nic levels too.
I am very excited! Might have a good side job and finally be able to make a decent order. I am also (finally) a happy vaper... have one tank with vanilla custard and another tank with tobacco. Also have a RDA to test my DIY juices.

The RDA is working well then?

Sweet tobacco by Purilum is actually not sweet at all. It's considered RY4ish but I actually find it reminds me of some of the old 555 tobacco flavored ejuices from years ago. There's a slight nutty note, but you almost have to look for it.

As @dc99 alluded to-- Kentucky Blend and red burley are two of my must haves on hand at all times. They're cheap and just full of flavor even at very low percentages.
