Five Pawns might just be the most expensive juice vendor in existence

I don't mind spending money for anything that's quality, but as far as juice is concerned, they all are about the same to me.

I am a recent smoker, and as long as the juice I vape has 24 mg of nicotine, that's about all that matters to me.

I am happy with the cheap juice I buy from Mt Baker. And to honest, if there is some juice that I don't much like, I just dump it in with some other bottle of juice. Seems like most of the juice I vape is a mix of at least 3 different flavors I just combined.

The only juice I ever threw away was some crap from China called Dekang "DK-TAB" ... Smelled like burning electric wires! ... Horrible stuff!

I still smoke a cigar maybe twice a week, but that's a different story ... I will pay deeply for a good cigar every time.

Personally, I think there is something more to the story here with all the bashing that is going on with 5P. Something isn't jiving. When I see this much reverb on something I thinks there is a campaign purposely being done.

Take a look at VapingWatch. Radiaor Pluid is $26 after shipping, Foggy bottom line is 30 to 36 after shipping but no one seems to be on a campaign or up in a roar. BTW nothing against VW. I like Radiator Pluid.

Some people need to get a life. My god. Life is to short and if it's some kind of a slander/libel situation, that's just nasty and I don't want anything at all to do with it. I'm directing my comments towards Reddit BTW. I'm really enjoying my time here on ecf and it's one of the few forums where respect is shown between members.

Enough of the rant. I'm getting their sample pack in a day or two. If its $28 good I'll state so and if I don't like it I'll state as well.

I got some 5P as a gift from a friend and was stoked. Then I tasted it. I tried really hard to like the Queenside but when it was all said and done I traded it here for something else. I am surely no hating on "expensive" liquid. Almost every juice I buy is considered expensive by ECF standards.

My ADV is $24.00 for a 30ml bottle. Some people will love 5P and some will not. I remember when Pluid had darling status on ECF and the lovers and haters argued over it. It was hard to get and many who finally did get it did not like it. You couldn't browse the forum without tripping over threads about when it would be available next.

It seems these situations come and go in waves for each vendor. The next big thing on ECF becomes popular to the point that it polarizes the community and we end up here.

I agree. I hate when some people think that no one should get something/like something just because they don't. If you don't like it or think it's overrated, don't buy it. They act like it's forced upon them.

Hell, Pink Spot Vapor is $28.90 per 30 mL, which is more than 5P's normal line, and PSV has been around since 2010. I rarely saw anyone say much more than "Pink Spot is expensive." Juicy Vapor (yep, I said it) came out in 2009 and they sell 33 mL at $27.40 (with Priority Shipping), and, well, you'd be buying the same thing you could get at ECBlends or MBV. Virgin Vapor (est. 2011) has prices that range in the exact same ballpark with Priority shipping.

I don't think there is anything suspicious about those that dislike 5P, but I find it suspicious that those that rant about them being so expensive have seemingly missed out on what has existed in the ecig game for years. I couldn't care care less who likes 5P, but judging them on their price alone, not taking into account they are equally priced with others that are making far less quality eliquid, is an erroneous stance, if not just uniformed.

The most expensive juice is the juice you pour down the drain. Though I am a light user so i can make it work, I really prefer Roar, which is moderately expensive. But the flavor is great and the service is excellent…which works great for me.

Good point (on the "most expensive juice").

Here is my 2c. I spend 25-40 on a good bottle of rum that may or may not last a week....I really enjoy my rum. I am a fan of 5P Gambit. 30ml will last almost a month. I enjoy the hell out of it. Soooo isnt that what matters. Im doing this because I enjoy it. If you enjoy it...Go for it before some nany state tells you that you can't. Justify it how you want. Merica!!!!!

Look like my 5P order is out for delivery so looking forward to maybe giving a vape tonight. I'm thinking the one I'll least like is Queenside so I'll start with that one first and the one I think I'll like the most is GM so I'll try that last.(Unless I lose discipline.) Wouldn't it be funny if I like Queenside the most? I'll be vaping this stuff through the weekend and I'll report back.

Well, got the order in this afternoon. I ordered Monday morning and received today so shipping gets 5 stars. I've ordered Priority from other vendors closer and didn't get it this fast. That's from CA to MA.

Nice presentation and glass bottles as samples. That's worth something in itself. I opened each bottle to take a sniff closed them up and then reopened two other times because the smell was so nice. Very aromatic.

Ok. I cheated and didn't try in the order I stated. I've been vaping an Ahlusion juice with orange and just wasn't in the mood for anything orange.

This isn't an official review which I'll do in juice reviews but just some preliminary thoughts. I've tried Gambit, GM and Pin in that order and have used one coil twisted 28g at .70 ohms on an IGO. I'm not real happy with set-up and will be trying on another set-up in the coming days. My wick is a little to tight.

So far I can tell these are high quality vapes and Gambit is the fav so far. I've been vaping them all non stop for about an hour and am very impressed and I think the best is yet to come with a better set-up.

Got mine today as well. Shipping is fast. However, not really keen on any of the flavors so far. Strangely enough the one I was most unsure about is what I've liked best. (Absolute Pin, the absinthe one) I don't know. I guess it's kinda good that I don't like any of them that much. Means I won't have to pay $30 for a full size.

It's not $30. It is $22.50. Subtract the $5.50 for the priority shipping.

Well, sorta. The reason I say "sorta" is that at a b&m, you'd still pay $27.50 even if the only shipping you needed was for the clerk to put it in a bag and hand it to you. I, as a whole, rather like the idea because it levels the paying field for those with access and those without, but since I now have access, I wish I could get it for $22.50 from the store. Funny how ideas change when circumstances do.

Even still, you are correct though. In that situation where you get it shipped, it truly is $22.50 + $5.50. At a b&m, the 30 mL is $27.50, period.

I really enjoy Absolute Pin. Besides Castle Long Reserve, it's the only Five Pawns I truly enjoy. Now, with that said, I use Absolute Pin as a palate cleanser. My every day vape is normally something along the lines of a Vanilla Custard. As we all know, when all day vaping something, the flavor tends to get muted after a while. When this happens, I grab my Absolute Pin and hit it for a few hours. Once I do that, I can go back to Vanilla...and all is good again. Try it! You'll see what I mean!
