Honestly, Barenjager, the liquor, is pretty darn expensive; double the price of Jack or Wild Turkey or whoever. However, it's literally the best and smoothest liquor I have ever tasted in my life. The best wine I've ever tasted in my life has, however, been $5 off Walmart shelves. Price never seems to correlate with finding what seems unique and well made to you. My motto tends to be try everything once; as a free sample, if you can. Just to list other things - my favorite steak is the $20 Filet from O'Charley's (completely fatless and super soft, a rare find - their other steaks taste like sweaty old men or dog), my favorite dessert is the 2-for-$1 Holiday Pies from McDonald's, which to me, taste like pure cupcake batter.
Aging juice in a barrel is indeed a concept. Anyone ever dab Jack on their skin and take a whiff after the alcohol absorbs? One of the best scents in the universe. All from the wood its aged in. Who knows if this concept transfers to juice; it'd probably take quite a few months in a barrel before the flavor really would even begin to set in. It'd be the only reason I'd think about trying it. I'd say that any reputable company would have little $5 bottles, in whatever size they want, as a sample so that no one's out of money that could pay for a nice family dinner.
For me, if someone made me a vape that was literally perfect and so complex and unique that it practically flooded my head with a dozen childhood memories, I'd probably pay $5 for a good day-long amount of vape (not a heavy vaper here, so that's prolly not even an evod full). I payed $5 a day for nasty Newport things. An (amazing) bottle of Red Velvet wine from Walmart costs $5 too. Spending $35 or so on anything, though, before you have any clue about it... that's a risky move. I do spend money on the things I truly require (concerning $20 steaks, for example, my gag reflexes can't handle fat nor dog-tasting meats - it's either I buy expensive [and complain and get it for free if it's even a tad bad], or I can't eat steak. I've tried just about every steak under the sun, most $12-ish restaurant steaks aren't fit for a cheap chinese buffet or Taco Bell burrito. Ruth's Chris have so-so steaks - no fat, very soft, but no flavor. $40. So I'm not about what's most expensive, just about not paying for crap because it's $5 cheaper.), and if I found a juice that to me was the joy that O'Charley's Filets or Walmart Wines give me, then I'm shelling out whichever price they require.
Not trying this brand of juice though until I get my first million dollars!
