Five Pawns

I stopped by my local vape shop today, after loving Gambit I bought a couple more bottles of some five pawns. I tried Bowden's Mate and Grandmaster and bought them after liking it in their test ProTanks.

I loaded them up in my Phiniacs and have been going back and forth on them all night.

Bowden's Mate is excellent! It's every bit a Girl Scout's Thin Mint flavor. Very well done, and will sit next to Halo's Belgium Cocoa in my rotation for my not seldom craved, but enjoyed when I do crave, chocolate vape flavors.

Grandmaster, I liked it in their ProTank, but it's not wowing me now that's it's home. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad. In fact it's quite good, and much like the rest of five pawns extremely well crafted, the flavors just aren't for me. You really gotta like peanut butter to fully appreciate this one.

I am loving Gambit also- my ADV

I purchased a bottle of Gambit to reward myself for 30 days without an analog this past weekend, and I'm absolutely loving it.
Like SnowDog, I don't get an apple pie taste, but whatever it is, it's very good.
It won't become my ADV, as too much of it seems to make me OD on the taste (plus, of course, the cost), but I'm pretty happy with what I received for the price.
As for *why* it costs so much, as mentioned up above, lots of overhead in this one. The packaging, the displays at your local vape shop, R&D... it all adds up, and gets passed along to the consumer.
Price be damned, once I hit month number 2, I'll be picking up Queenside.

No stinkies for 5 days due to Gambit!! And I bought a Provari this week and sent it back because it muted my Gambit!! Just tried the Queenside today...yummy too

Congrats on the 5 day's!!

Not to be rude.... but could you elaborate on how a battery tube can mute flavors? Different voltages will change the flavor but a Provari can be adjusted between 2.9V-6V. I am sure you could hit the same voltage your other battery tube was producing.....

Im not sure but my philosophy is it vaporized the juice so quickly it muted the taste. I went all the way down 2.9 and up 6.0 increment by increment and could not get that sweet spot I love so much with Gambit....Tried all day long..comparing different devices and tanks/and cartos. Yet the Provari was very smooth and huge Vapors.

Not sure where I stand on "premium" juice vendors. Glass bottles does not make one great. I may just be getting cranky and crotchety in my old age, but I've tried Five Pawns, Jameson's, The Standard, and nothing knocked my block off. The last time my tongue popped with flavor was from The Vapor Chef.

But like GThompson taught me, "just because a certain vendor is popular doesn't mean you'll like their juice".

So, meh. ::shrug::

So far in my book Gambit is the best of Five Pawns....Very strong cinnamon (not like big red cinnamon) with a fresh apple pie taste. Delicious!
