6 weeks ago my wife brought home a really cheap e-cig setup from the party store. It was an Encore brand, which is based on a kr808. We went to a party that night, so I took it with me since it was going to be cold and I didn't want to go outside to smoke. It was OK, nothing special...but I only smoked one cig that night. The one thing I liked about it was that I didn't feel like crap the next day, the usual hangover wasn't there.

The next day I started researching online and found this forum. So I ordered a Ego-c starter kit and a couple 10ml bottles of juice from Wordup e-cig. 4 days later that showed up and I haven't touched a smoke since. I was on that thing nonstop for the first week...I wasn't a wreck, I was just getting acclimated to not smoking after 22 years.

A few days after getting that I ordered an Ego twist, and a handful of ce-4 clearomizers and some more juice. Some of it was horrible and some of it was tasty. So, I ordered more of what I liked along with another Twist and an extra charger, since I read that you gotta have backups for your backups. I then did several more hours of reading here seeing what works for others, ordered more juice and in the meantime turned a few friends on to vaping.

Now I have 14 bottles of various juice, 5 batteries, at least 8 clearomizers and a couple of chargers and a box for all of it. I have some juice I don't care for, but I don't see it as money wasted since I would have spent that buying analogs. The best part is my kids aren't .....ing at me to quit and I feel great. No more hacking in the morning and sounding like I have emphysema.

Great story, I'm about 2hrs into my vaping habit (if you don't count disposables) and I feel your excitement as well.

Funny you mentioned the hangover, I can really feel the difference in the mornings after heavy smoking (AND drinking, but it feels like enough cig smoking contributes). The main thing that's going to keep me vaping is feeling like I didn't get hit by a semi in the morning.

I hate that the most with analogs... that extra morning grogginess...

Ah, memories... Sometimes I try to cough like I used to in the morning, but I get nothing. Where did it all go? Weird how smoke makes all that phlegm gang up in your chest at night, then it feels like you're coughing up a lung the next morning. But vapor doesn't have that effect at all.

Congrats on your five weeks of being smoke-free! :D

Congratulations! I too am in week 5 and not coughing up all that yuck. Well, I have really bad allergies so I still have some along with clogged nose in the morning. I'm allergic to my pets who sleep with me so I'll just keep dealing with it but its nothing like the analog on top of it. I can breath clearly in the morning and that's a first in over 20 years. Actually, I've complained for years that bronchaid inhalers were taken off the market to make room for Advair which doesn't work and you can't get an inhaler without a doc's rx. Now I don't need one. I have my own PV!!!! A few hits of high VG and the lungs and nose are clear. A real bonus for us allergy folks.
