Loosing the screw did the trick, no flooding.
Will be changing to originals O-rings, though, the deck is a bit too wobbly for my liking.
It's a CRYING SHAME that these don't get the headliners they deserve, haven't had a reason to buy other stuff after givin it another try.

Yay! Jeremy had the answer. I didn't even think about the additional suction created when using a smaller air flow screw.

My understanding is that this tank is very popular in Europe. It's not widely known here in the states. Why? I don't know as it has killed every other tank flavor-wise that I have tried.

Its just one of those things jax... ;)... People have misconceptions of it...

Not hardly a single review in English. I guess they just never figured it out and put it aside.

Its starting to catch on slowly here.... Glad you guys appreciate it..

People think its some kind of huge Atty but really when I opened the box, I thought it looked a LOT smaller than what I expected...

The tank wicks action are tied to your draw. You want to have them set so every vape you take is just enough vaccum to pull enough juice out of the tank to cover each hit.

So the vaccum you create with the air flow and speed of your draw on each hit, will determine how tight or loose you need the tank wicks to be.

I have no screw and I take quick 2 sec lung pulls. So the way I run the tank wicks works for me.. For some one else they may flood set up exactly like that.

Great pics!

The short mode looks like the v2. I liked the straight tanks on those more myself. Short mode looks cool... Just need the short duct.

And look at that pic the 5ml fev is literally on a few mm longer than the russians full length!

It's very popular in Germany and Austria for sure, cant tell what it's like in other countries.
On the biggest German board it's hands down the most recommended atty for people just starting to rebuild and is considered as a top notch atty along with the Kayfun, Taifun and Squape.
If I recall correctly the generell opinion is that it's not quite on par on taste with the Taifun (close, though) but easier to handle and easier to use for higher power builds.
I cant really tell as I dont own a Taifun, the Kay I own leaks from the fill port and has a tiny build deck and I am not really interested in "Kayfun Style" atties anymore. I'm done with all the "leaks when on its side, leaks because of too much/too little wick, leaks from the fill screw" BS.

Yup, I agree. I found one review a while ago in English. If I had the equipment, I'd do one myself but quite honestly, I wouldn't know where to begin as I've never done a video review.

I find it one of the easier attys to build once you know how. The deck is huge compared to some other attys I have built. That really helps when using nickel as it takes quite a few wraps to acquire the lower threshold ohms.

It's slowly gaining attention by word of mouth. sedge talked jpcwon into his and jpcwon talked me into mine.

I guess I could see where some might think it is rather large, especially when mounted on an 18650 tube mod. On the other hand, mounted on a box mod, it's not that long at all evidenced by sedge's comparison image above. I think some might be turned off on its looks. With vaping, give me function over form every time. And actually, I like the industrial look myself.

That's another reason I like this atty so much. I can put it in any position and it has never leaked on me. I lay mine on the couch beside me all the time without a single worry of a leak.

I guarantee you, the looks has a LOT to do w/the popularity. The boutique vapers take one look at this thing and immediately dismiss it. And while it DOES look like a hydraulic/pneumatic connection fitting that could be connected to a grease gun, I also agree w/function over form every time so I'm buying one to see what I think of it. Whether it takes the place of my Aquas remains to be seen. mwink.gif
