I reiterate, its all about the feeders. Once you get them tuned your all good.
Step one build coil and wick. Place chamber on so you can measure the length you need to just touch into the wicks. Cut that width to a long strip 30-40 mm long. Roll it up till it fits in. Open the straw with whatever so its open. Try it. If its not feeding. Cut half a wrap off.. Then try again. Continue till it starts to keep up.... Now your pretty good you can fine tune by removing 1/4 wrap at a time or rebuilding a 1/4 wrap wider.
If you go too far it will over wick. This is all Dependant on your juice, power, and draw.

Funny about the straws. First FV3 I got was second hand and came with the straws. I was lucky they worked perfect with my all VG.
GOt a second and time came to do the straw thing myself. The mesh of the first one was not as tight and the mesh I got was real fine. Took a few tries. Did the same, rolled around a 1.2mm drill bit and just kept cutting off a couple mm till it was perfect. I figure they are aprox 8 x 13mm?

Too thin liquid, was used with my Ego One, must be around 50 - 60 VG.
For my feeders 90VG is the right.

So where should I get the v3 from.. Focal or gear best? Gear best is 20, focal is 25.. Any thoughts?

The glass tank is growing on me.. I would like to get one, only I know it will be broken after a week. These from china aren't Pyrex are they.

I picked up the SS316 from GB but that one is not listed anymore, just the SS303.
(GearBest are douchebags... They sold us in the big preorder what was supposed to be the Yeashmo NextGen and shipped us the SXK version. They also changed the picture on the site to show the SXK but it is still called Yeahsmo. I waited a month for this and could have picked up the SXK from Fasttech in 10 Days. But that is another story for another thread.)
I would recommend the Hotcig from Focal for $25. My Hotcig VS is top notch except for the drip tip, both the VS and V3 DT's are so sloppy a bigger o-ring won't even fix them. A minor point as I use different drip tips anyway, the VS looks great with the NextGen's stubby tip.
This is a Sweet-Vapes SS Delrin #2 tip which fits tight and works great on the SS316 if you like a large bore tip.

Hotcig all the way, a collection of the blue zippered cases is just as good as a collection of blue screwdrivers!
The focal clone is pretty good. You need some better o-rings for the base, 18mm width, 1mm thick. Otherwise it wobbles.
A drip tip with two o-rings is also preferable, because, guess what, the one that comes with it wobbles.
Other than that, it's good.

I had a 70PG 30VG juice in my Kayfun V4 over the weekend and thought I should try that in the V3. The feeder wicks are too large on mine for that thin of a juice and the bottom of the V3 was starting to accumulate a fair bit of liquid. This RY4 is quite strong anyway so instead of changing my feeders I just added 10ml of VG to the 20ml's left and ended up with a 50/50 mix. Brought the nic down a couple of points and mellowed out the flavor.
I put a wrap of dental floss under each of the o-rings and that took up quite a bit of the slack on the SS316.
I'll have to get a bunch of different sized o-rings in from that O-Rings R Us type place that was discussed in the KV4 Attack of the Clones thread.

Sounds like i should go focal to be sure i get the best one for sure. I've only been eyeing it for near 6 months.. Lol

I have Hotcig Flash e v3 and vs. No wobbling on either, except for the drip tips. I guess I need to try more dt's because they were all wobbly.
My v3 atty will come off the base now though if I try to pick it up by the atty.

BTW, for those who got the MONSTER sized Flash-e. If you need a nice drip tip to match its enormity, I bought a beautiful Pyrex and stainless steel that is gorgeous but monstrous in size. First thing I thought of was what the heck could this go with, and thought of the Giant Flash-e.

Here's a better perspective. Isnt that a giant drip tip? If anyone wants it let me know. Like I posted, the Giant Flash-e would be the only atty that it would look right on.

I'm going to switch to the glass tank kit today from Focal. I'm not looking forward to the mesh rolling, but it should go better now that I know I don't need to get 60mm in there

Does the glass feel like it will shatter from one drop, or does it feel kinda sturdy?

The glass is pretty thick, but I imagine your chances of breaking it are the same as any glass tank. I think it makes the atty more attractive.

My luck is I would order the glass tank and after a 3 week wait it would arrive broken... So I'd order a 5 pack of tanks to go with it.
I know. Luckily mine arrived intact. It comes with one spare glass from Focal. But, I would like more than that.
