How would you all feel after that?
Facebook is 90% cesspool with loudmouth, keyboard bullies around every turn. It gives people the chance to say things that they never would in a face to face setting.

You will find the largest collection of opinionated, pompous a-holes in most "Authentic" groups. To have some "group luser" have an issue with language in today's global society is totally unacceptable. Google does a semi decent job for reading translation but I would not use it for anything written.

I would make a post in the group about being called out for using English expressing your disgust, tag the user who PM'ed you and get a group decision about it.

I think you'll find that user is not part of the majority.

I finally found this again, and thought Id share it. I should see if I can repair my clone base.

First half is how to repair if the positive wire comes off and the second part has be stumped. Its in German of course, but Im sure its easy to figure out.

What is the little container he has on the side that he keeps dipping the solder tool in? I assume its some sort of cleaner?

Decided to give me Dripper some love pairing her up with my new Evic VT.
Gotta say this is one of the best, if not the best dripper been using, don't really care 'bout near short coils and 100+ watts of power.
Set her to 30 watts and squeez some juice inside and vape for days!
Well, not for days, but more than a dozen flavourfull drags.

Hey Jeremy, any ideas of how to get my tails to feed the liquid a bit better?
With wicks laid down like S my wicks never get completly dry EVEN when only using 20 watts.
Granted using 90% VG, but it's a bit of an pita.
Might wanna try something, that doesn't come in pads, muji or KGD ain't the best filler for this or anything in that matter.

You can order from Germany long chimney and tanks but cost more than another whole clone.

Just found this!

I would absolutely get this v2 clone. As far as i can tell the thread pitch is right. Interchanges thread with the evaporator chamber threads. You can put the 8ml on the hotcig v3 base. Actually this is better than my tobeco v2... Shoot!!!.. I might have to order this one too! To make it #4.

The whole shebang, both tanks, plus dripper cap! Only thing it seems to be missing is the stainless 8ml tank section. My tobecco came with clear and stainless section. Only the plastic is shown in photos, but it may still be included just left out of pictures. It would only make sense to include that piece for when the plastic breaks.

And the wireless base!! Omg!! Fev holy grail.

Check it!

Hello Fellow Flash-e-Fans.

Just popped in to say hello and keep this thread busy.

Question for those that have had theirs for over a year or so.

Have any of you used an ultrasound cleaner for the bases? I know that the newer FEVs do not have wired bases anymore, so I figure its safe. I know the base can be taken apart and I saw how to once, but cant remember how. I wanted to throw my bases in the ultra sound to make sure there is not any nasty liquids in there causing problems.

Yeah not good idea, it wont get the inside. i recently posted about my two year old flash i decided to open up. The first clone version tobecco. I knew some liquid had weeped in over the years as it leaked out the 510 when shelved for a while.

Your best bet is to pull the 510 pin just enough to lay it to the side. Pull it out slow and the wire will come with it, let it hang out. also if you have room pull the gromet so you have more room for draining. Then you can rinse it in ultrasinic or with hot water then prop up for a day with pin out so the liquid can drain out.

The only problem is the wires are hot glued insideand, depending on brand and you definately risk breaking the solder.

With the 510 pin out you can also unscrew the base because the wire is loose it wont wrap up. The positive post doesnt come out as easily because of the hit glue and the wire will most likely break.

So if the bases dont have the wire then it would be fine to drop into an ultrasonic bath?

I'm saying if it gets in, it won't get out without opening it to drain it... you could just do the outside quick but it wont do anything about the inside, the inside of the base is almost sealed.

Some newer versions are easier to take apart.. i would definately just take it apart if it is. The oring portion unscrews from the knurled section. Pull the 510 first to see if you have wires if you do leave the pin out and you can unscrew and open enough to get it clean while leaving wires attached.
