Well I tried mixing the TPA double chocolate (dark) with coffee, cream, and even cheesecake so far and ALL tasted like old, stale, nasty old lady perfume...oh...except the choc/cheesecake, that tasted like vomit. It even had the bile taste, I kid you not.

I took your advice and placed an order for Capella's last night. I got the choc brownie and took advantage of their 6 for $19 special. I'd just like to find a chocolate that I can make a decent mocha coffee with (coffee extraction is the way to go for coffee IMO). I'd be willing to mix it with just about anything at this point though...but the TPA is going in the trash :(
May I ask what percentages do you work with?

We really got to change the name of this section . lol Dont take it the wrong way because i understand it is confusing but for the 20th time lol . This is the DIY flavoring section not eliquid section .

Oops. I was just browsing the new post section. I feel like a dork now. Uh...yay Dekang lol!

I, uh, must have left out the part where I like to mix it with the LorAnn's English Toffee I found at the local craft store.

Carry on. I'm just going to go sit over there....

LOL its ok . You made up for it with the loranns ET . I see thats one of the main issues . You really cant tell when looking at new posts . Your not the first person . Happens in almost every thread . We were able to have a link put in on the main DIY section which helps finding this section but it doesnt fix the problem with the section its in and name . Flavor review is kind of vague especially since it sits next to eliquid review section .mods said it would be confusing to move it to the DIy section .I thinks the opposite is confusing lol

Can you ask the mods to rename the thread "DIY Flavor Review"

Already did . UntamedRose was kind enough to put the link in the diy section but thats all she was allowed to do after she asked the higher up . The higher ups said it would be to confusing to people to change the section i think.

You can try asking too . Im sure the more people that ask the better . I didnt know who actually has the power to do it . I just knew that untamedrose was a friendly mod so i Pmed her .

Can you ask the mods to rename the thread "DIY Flavor Review"

It is confusing because this forum is an offshoot of general eliquid reviews. Most of the DIY flavor talk up to this point has been in the general DIY tips section. Thats where most people are sent to who have an interest in starting DIY.

Most every juice I've ever tried, especially the sweet ones are way too strong (flavor) for me, which is why I started doing DIY to begin with, so I usually start at 5%. :) I think I even went less with the TPA double dark choc and coffee clear because she says on her website that they're strong. Problem with that is I mixed 30 ml bottles of those, nic and all...I have since learned my lesson and do small batches with pg only to test. I even let it steep, and it just gets stronger. :(

For those looking for a good cherry, Discount Vapors just started carrying flavors and claims his cherry is NOT a cough syrup type. I haven't tried it...not much of a cherry person, but the prices are fantastic, he's a great supplier, and is honest to a fault! If I were looking for cherry, I'd start there ;)
