Every flavor is different, with different needs.

What I look for first are what shouldn't be there. As an example I bought a well known expensive juice a couple of years ago that would have been spectacular if they had just left out the IVORY soap.

One of the reasons that I started DIY was because most vendors get confused with the words "tastes good" & "tastes sweet". There is more to flavor than how sweet they make it.

Probably most important is that I want to experience what I want to experience from a flavor, and to hell with what anyone else might want to experience from that same flavor.

ROFL... and I got interested in DIY because it seemed to me that most commercial juice makers never heard of sweetener... ;)

They might. If they want. That's why we must fight for what we want.

Exercise your Democratus Maximus muscles if you want to keep vaping.

If *I* want to keep vaping, the only muscles I need to exercise are my "rebuild RDA" and "DIY ejuice" muscles. Got almost 4 yrs nicotine in the freezer, and quite a few RDAs/RBAs, and a couple of mechs too.

The ones to worry about are those smokers who haven't yet discovered e-cigs. The Desk Murderers are determined to keep them smoking and dying, to plump up the Desk Murderers' pockets with tobacco money and useless-NRT sales. Plus the sales of all those cancer and COPD drugs.

Right, they are trying to as we speak it's very important to not blow clouds in public places and not come off as idiots we need to seem educated and courteous to others

Who ever comes up with a "one size fits all" atty will be rich! Rich I tell ya!

I have an aromamizer that works great for fruits but I don't care for the atty. My rm8 is delicious with creamy fruits and not so great with plain custard. My St mini does custard like a champ.

Use the topper you like best with the juice it works best with. Or spend time with each one using the juice they do best.

That's my take on flavor chasing..
Oh yeah.... Stick with nicoticket and try out a reo.

The term flavor chasing was named as the flip side of cloud chasing. I think the "chasing" part still applies because it can be an elusive goal, between all factors including psychological.

There is definitely some sort of "activation" or magic going on when a juice is vaped, somewhat related to cooking food. And absolutely, different devices work best with certain juices, and vice versa. The hardware evolution post a few pages back was missing the possibility you might go "forward" and actually find it worse. Happened to me to the point I really don't trust anyone else's opinion, or do but know they use different juices than I. If you collect a number of preferred juices while using one piece of hardware, it becomes more likely you will be unimpressed with an "upgrade" because your flavors are well suited to what you already have... unless actually you're still using the kind of flavors those recommending the upgrade do also.

Does it really matter though? I am courteous in my vaping but I don't think it will impact legislation. Whatever happens is going to happen no matter what we do. Anti-vaping is driven by factors outside our control such as big tobacco, big pharmaceutical and state funding. It's like the war on drugs, it doesn't matter what the facts or the perception are, it only matters who funds the politicians who make the decisions.

A while back I bought some unflavored liquid (very inexpensive), and thought it was pretty good. Then I mixed the unflavored with flavored liquid, about 1/4 flavored and 3/4 unflavored. It tasted the same as the straight unflavored. For many it actually tasted better.

Flavor chasing is basically bogus. After the first few puffs your taste buds are saturated and its all downhill from there. With flavor, less is better. None is pretty good to.

Essentially all vendors oversaturate the flavor by a good amount. It is just about guaranteed that the bigger the flavor hit, the faster you will burn out on it. You really just want a hint of flavor. More is not better.

That is a big part of it but we shouldn't add to the problem

Has nothing to to with this but yes I do, I can get the same effect by sticking my head out the window and yell hey everyone look at me
Just like flavor chasing doesn't have anything to do with the powers that be trying to take vaping away from us.

You think it sounds stupid, don't say it. How would those terms, that maybe 15% of people that vape ever heard, be used to take vaping away?
