I have been looking all over for this info and can't seem to find it. I am still pretty new into rda's and just recently went from 30g to 28g and I noticed it changed how my juices tasted. I lost the nice bright crisp notes. I have seen in some of Rip trippers vids that 28g is good for custard style notes and flat ribbon is nice for crisp notes. but that was all I could find.

So here Is what I am looking for. Someone that has experience with the various wire gauges and types, could you list the effect they have on the Flavor of your juices. And also maybe suggest a build that would give me the best of both worlds, AKA good crisp notes and nice deep custard style notes from 1 build.

My problem so far has been that I like the flavor from the 30g but I really like the performance and durability of the 28g. I have both in 100ft spools as well as a spool of 32g and am more than willing to give twisted wire builds a go if it will deliver the results I am seeking.

Oh and for the haters, yes I agree Rip is full of himself and annoying, but when it comes to building coils his vids have really helped me so if we can just keep this thread to the wires and avoid better vid authors much appreciated.

This is a very tough question !!! The taste of the juice depends on many factors :
1. The juice it self, PG/VG ration, how it is made
2. The RDA/RTA, airflow, ....
3. The coil , guage, ID, number of wraps, how far from air hole...
4. The wicking material, silica, cotton, rayon.....
5. Finally , YOU and your taste ...
So, no one can answer your question. My advice to you: pick your favourite juice, your RBA, and start experimenting till you find your sweet spot.
