I have been mixing my DIY juice at 25/75 PG/VG. I usually use between 10 and 15% of Flavour Art flavoring as I like my flavors strong and rich. I have read many times that PG carries flavor better. Let's say I start mixing at 60/40 or even 70/30 PG/VG, will it really make that much of a difference in the strength of the flavors in my mixes? Would it make such a difference that I would need to / be able to lower the percentages of flavorings that I have been adding? Thanks in advance for your responses.

Tacoma Wa,
I just got my big box 'o' DIY supplies.
I bought enough to make about 10 30ml bottles.. I made 4 30ml bottle tonight and i don't know if it's because i made it..or what, but this is the best eliquid i have ever tasted over the past year.

I made a 40vg 50pg 10flavor mix and it's perfect.
I used TPA flavors and love em!

Back to my new chemlab.

Oh yeah, is 60mg base gonna hurt me if it touches my skin? I was worried and my hands were a little shaky while i mixed, I didn't spill any and i had gloves on.

I don't know how bad it'll hurt you. But it won't be good for you. I don't wear gloves. I know I should (also using 60mg). Thankfully I haven't spilled any yet.

Congrats with the venture into DIY. It's a whole lot of fun. I really like TFA flavors too.

Just wash your hands with soap as soon as possible. It takes some time before nicotine enters the body via skin. But i wouldn't wait too long before washing my hands. Anyway with nic (and PG) on your hands you will smudge everything you touch after that. I had it once. Made all of my bottles very slippery and one of me juice bottles fell on the ground.

I have spilled 60nic on my hands. (and I have zero nicotine tolerance{never smoked}). Just wash it off as quickly as possible w/ soap + water. Do not panic. Do not jump up and spill everything as you rush to the sink. Just get up, calmly walk to the sink and wash it off with soap + water.

You should use a little less if you have a higher PG. It won't be "That much", but taste is so individual and sometimes flavors can be wonky at times. Would it push you from the "just right" point to the "perfumy/chemically" point? That'll depend on what you are mixing. Some flavors are more forgiving than others.
