Mr.Mann coined the acronym, so he is probably the best one to define it ;)

Yea, that sounds like Mann-erism ! That's the beauty of the english language- it means so may things :). You'se Guys and Y'all are two examples of what I mean by that. By that definition CV's Twice Vanilla tobacco comes to mind- tatstes just like roasted marshmallows to me. But this thread is open for these discussions. Small font, big font, TINO's, TA, NET, arti-baccos makes no difference to me, just looking for the next good vape here ! ;)

TINO (Tobacco In Name Only) is actually supposed to describe liquids that are called tobacco or have tobacco in the description, but don't taste like tobacco at all, and make you question if they even contain a single tobacco ingredient.

It doesn't matter if it is extract, TA or other artificial tobacco flavoring... If it is called tobacco but don't taste like tobacco, then it could be referred to as a TINO. Mr.Mann coined the acronym, so he is probably the best one to define it ;)

Just for future reference, which ones did we refer to incorrectly?

Uh-oh, just saw on another thread where a Moderator was warning against using' all initials' ! For the record (and feel free to correct me if I'm wrong) TINO= Tobacco In Name Only, TA= Tobacco Absolute (?), NET= Naturally Extracted Tobaccos and arti-bacco is my own twisted way of refering to Artificial Tobacco Flavors. Just trying to be helpful here....

I've heard (read) about a "Desert Ship" flavor on the ECF before, but I can't remember who posted it or made it. If memory serves, and it usually doesn't, the post was in one of those 'Search for All Day Vape' type threads, and some guy said he'd been vaping Desert Ship for two years. Can't remember much else about it though......

A lot of places have Desert Ship. Vaping Zone has a good Desert Ship. They actually offer it in their USA version and the Hangsen version.

Vaping Zone was recommended to me the most for Desert Ship flavoring on the DIY forum too. It's a bonus that I can get the Hangsen Essence that I already know I like and try their U.S.A. version at the same time!

I'll probably try both versions of Turkish Blend too...another favorite. Plus Turkish Blend mixes well with Desert Ship.

So what is "WTA"? I've seen a thread on that, but I have NO idea what it's short for.

I have never actually had one myself, I have avoided anything that was even spoke about in that context... I know there were a few you mentioned frequently, but I can't remember the names?

Sidenote: I am not sure what you mean, I didn't even mention refering to anything incorrectly in my post, did I? I wasn't categorizing, I was just clarifying the definition that had been created... Here is another clarification... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/general-e-liquid-discussion/274904-natural-tobaccos-151.html#post8524230

P.S. Sorry if it made you mad bro...

I hate written communication sometimes. I wasn't mad. :)

I thought someone had called something a TINO that wasn't and that's what sparked your comment. I was curious what it was is all.

Peace man. :)

Here's what I call an arti-bacco - Heather's Heavenly Vapes Caramel Apple Tobacco. Gonna re-try that one this weekend, though it didn't do much for me. I believe it's made with tobacco flavors, not extracts. Just like HHV Georgia Peach Tobacco, which I gave away. I am NOT saying there's anything wrong, just for some reason I'm not getting 'it' from these juices.

yes let's take this offline. Exchange phone numbers, and just sumamrize our discussions here, as you're right, it is WAY to eaasy to read things the wrong way. My number is 319-TINO- F T W

I think Skinny was saying simply that the term TINO can be given to any tobacco juice (NET or otherwise) if that juice doesn't impart much or any tobacco flavor. I can say this: After vaping A+ aros for a while, just about all other tobaccos become TINOs to me. That's neither good nor bad. Most of the time I prefer just a hint of tobacco flavor in my NETs. Sometimes I just want to inhale a cigar shop. I think the term has a snobbish connotation but in reality it may be the preferred profile people are looking for.

File this under it takes awhile for me to catch on; I've heard the term 'grassy' but never really paid it much mind 'til I saw Bronze refer to Carvin Vapes as grassy. Now I know what it means ! These are grassy, now that I think of it that way it's harder to dismiss as the 'Kentucky blend' extracts as listed by the vendor. Still a decent vape, though, just seem to have a better understanding.
And, no, I'm not upset with anyone. Vaping is still WAY better then smoking !

The mods may have made changes recently, as For The Win abbreviation appeared as ...... until I spaced it.

Mods, sorry if I am violating some rule, won't happen again, my sad attempt at humor would have been an even more utter failure without the abbreviation...

You can't use that acronym here? Why? That must be a programming error.
