So I decided to try my hand at DIY. The juice I mostly vape is menthol so I thought I'd try to make some and save some money. I ordered some supplies and when I received it the menthol flavoring was frozen solid which obviously was from being on the cold delivery truck. I assumed it would be fine once it thawed out. Well, after it thawed out, what was left was a thick paste. This is my first time attempting DIY but I'm assuming it's supposed to be a liquid and not a thick paste?

Was it in a glass or plastic bottle? If plastic, the menthol may have reacted with the plastic causing it to break down. Either way, I wouldn't use it. Contact the vendor and ask for a replacement.

Menthol will recrystalize in the cold (or if too much menthol was added) - and it becomes very thick and "pasty looking". jcals advice was good - hot water (and maybe some shaking) should 'bring it back'...in glass or in plastic.

If that doesn't do the trick, then there may be something wrong - and contact the vendor, we would :)
