Ya, but I think we all had this DIY compulsion before the FDA worries :D I know what you mean though, and that's my major Nic driving force for sure. It's too bad all of the mainly DIY shops don't offer hardware as cheap as other places, if they did then they'd have all of our $$ :D I wonder why they don't, they know we'd only shop with them then :)

I know some offer hardware in smaller offerings, but the prices are never competitive with other hardware based shops. I guess it probably comes down to them not wanting to buy large enough shipments of hardware items to justify lower prices. I guess they don't realize our wallets and cc's would get maxed and they'd crash from all the incoming orders once we started placing all of our orders with them instead of some here n there.

I don';t think a ban is going to happen. Maybe a Nic mg limitation or something, and a MAJOR taxation, but I doubt they'll ban anything because if they did they'd loose TONS of possible taxes and they know it.

I agree with everything you wrote, but would point out that major taxation, for me, = a ban. (sigh) Already there seems to be some inspection/delay hijinks going on with the FDA and nic shipments. How many of the FDA staff used to work with Big Tobacco, I wonder? Anyway, I suppose it's okay with me for the moment because I am being distracted by the shiny new recipes and juice I'm spending waaaay too much money on.

That is funny isn't it!?! They do look nice to use, and cheap too, I guess a little whirl for a few minutes isn't any worse than airing out juices and shaking them up with fresh air in each time. Plus, it's done mainly on day one, but I agree, I wondered the same when I started seeing the discussions on those.

Have to get me one though, looks much better than trying to shake a bottle to death after mixing! :D

@ Shilo, I'm about to trya few FW flavors from DIY. Have you tasted their Absinthe yet, how about Dragon Fruit or the Creamy Nut Delight?

Looks pretty easy to make thinking supplies would be old printer for motors(old battery power screw driver would be perfect) battery box and a small piece of tubing that fits motor shaft 2 set screw and a guitar pick.

Or an old remote control car and you could remotely mix your juice. ;)

I know what you mean...it's a healthy exercise in self-control. I have had my fingers hovering over the buttons too many times trying to rationalize pv purchases. I've maintained control so far, and have to watch myself. :)
Buying juice supplies, on the other hand, that's another story....

Stoneface you absolutely fit in with this group of people :)

OK, kinda off topic but not. Are there any links to the FDA story? I keep reading scary stories and people stocking up and I don't have the means to stock up NIC (money nor freezer space and I travel so much it is just not practical). How badly should I be concerned/prepared? I am a very new vaper and would NOT want to loose my saving grace from those nasty things which is also something I am really enjoying, especially the people :)

Any info greatly appreciated!

There is no definitive information out there, but mostly whispering and conjecture like this --->Pharmaceutical Nicotine Targeted By FDA | Ecig Advanced News I'm not trying to scare anyone, mainly venting my frustrations. With that said, however, I am stocking up a bit myself. I always intended to learn DIY anyway, so I want to be prepared for at least a little while just in case. Now if only I can learn how to safely extract my own nic juice and grow tobacco on the rooftops of New York City tenement buildings. Since our Mayor is actively trying to ban sodas being sold in excess of 16 oz, I suppose that might be breaking the law as well. See how they all want to control us like children? Arrrgh!
Who sells the best Wintergreen flavoring? Still looking.............I need it!
I don't know if it is the best, but I purchased some TFA Wintergreen. It is strong stuff (I can really smell it when I take the cap off), I have only so far used it at 1%-2% with other fruit flavors. 2% was a pretty strong hit of it, so I recommend starting with a drop or two (depending on batch size). Maybe someone with more experience will chime in here....
