Flavour?? Kanger dual coils

I'd read that the new kanger dual coils give good flavour. Mine taste very muted or taste nothing at all. I've tried putting the air control to a small setting to try pulling more liquid.
Anyone else have same problem or am I doing something wrong ??

I got nothing as well on an ego, then I upped my volts when I got a VV mod, it was way better. What are you you using with the tank?

I have an Itaste clk 1280. And aspire vv+ batteries. I haven't gone past 4v as I think it then starts to taste burnt

I get a funny taste when I use Kanger coils. I don't know if it is because I am using iclear coils for so long, but when I try using my Kanger coil with the same liquid, it has a plastic flavor. My wife uses them and loves them.

I'm between 4 and 4.2 depending on how much I'm vaping at 4.2 I'm risking dry hits. I don't like the dual coils but I'm learning to get used to them. I think the singles are better for this reason but I'm one of the few I think. Everyone else loves them.

I get the strange plastic taste too. I read reviews that these new ones gave great taste. Could be the coil. I'm using the one that came already fitted.

I've had good flavor with the Kanger dual coils at 1.0 ohm to 1.5 ohm, higher I'm not a fan of...I'm more a fan of the 0.08 ohm ones but the iStick won't sub ohm.

and I love the heat with the iStick so that vv sweet spot's a tad lower on the setting but the flavor's there.

my flu's waning I can finally taste again!! it's good!!

The rubber grommet? You can look close and see if it's burnt anywhere. I'm using em up and moving on.

I'm using T-juice. Red Astaire which is a 80/20 I think so should wick really well. Think I'm to used to the taste on my mini naut which is amazing. I use the kanger when im fed up with my naut gurgling and flooding.
Its one thing to another. Mini naut gurgling and flooding. Aerotank dry hits. Not having much luck.

Brave it is..it's like nothing is good..you're not hungry..but you eat because you're light headed and honestly I went days and didnt vape..

I got a hit of that blood orange and coffee this morning...ah Nirvana!!

I just bought the istick and am trying to troubleshoot myself. I'm frustrated between the nauti and kangers as well. I use 50/50 or any combo of higher VG, flooding has never been a problem for me. But I just keep getting dry hits, I think my problem is just hitting it too much. I'm moving on to a rebuildable because I'm so frustrated with the two of them. I just wish things would work so I feel ya! I got a hold of the old style dual coils because it's another trial but haven't tried them yet.

I recently got packs of 1.5 ohm and 1.8 ohm duals and noticed I was getting lots of dry hits with the 1.8's. Tried the 1.5's and they are wicking way better. I'm convinced it's a quality control issue between the two batches.

Do you find you need to draw a bit harder on the kanger dual coil than on the mini nautilus and also run it lower in volts ?

I'm glad to see this post...I recently bought a kanger emow clearo with the dual coils at 1.8 ohm (both the old ones and the upgraded ones).
The clearo seems fine, nice amount of vape, good solid clearo, nice battery...but no taste.
I've been trying to find if there are other people with the same problem, but couldnt really find much.
Ive tried everything, more or less of the airflow holes open, higher and lower voltage etc.
Still: either no taste at all, or very little taste.
I'll go try the 1.5 ohm coils now after reading this thread, but its all a bit of a mystery to me atm.
