Well I see the other brands getting alot of love I'd like to learn more about the FlavourArt flavors other than the ones I have tried. Which ones are you favorites or least favorites? All opinions welcome.

I'll third the Tobaccos. Perique Black, Mellow Tobacco etc. Just got the black fire and not sure about that one yet. I cant help thinking that the Black fire tastes like smokehouse almonds or liquid smoke. Not that that's bad, just more of a food 'flavor. Like thier red bull too.
I just tried Black Fire as well (it's good!) and can't wait to play more with it....I may actually have to try more tob flavs now

I have cinnamon ceylon but have yet to mix it (been using Cap flavors so I'm pretty satisfied cinnamon-wise), and I just mixed up some lemon sicily, pineapple and peach today but haven't tried them yet. They smell heavenly though
So far I've been really happy with everything I've tried!

I'm curious too, aside from the tobaccos. I have Cantaloupe, Catalan Cream, Vienna Cream and Cocoa on the way. I have Cookie, Lemon Sicily and Lime Tahity on hand, but haven't used them at all yet.

When you say All in 10% EM Base do you mean ten percent base flavoring of 10 % EM in PG%...lol plus the other percentage of flavorings for a total of 25 percent flavorings or do you mean 10% diluted EM added to a base that is lower than 10 percent? This is a tiny bit confusing I hope you understand what I am asking---in your final mixture what percent of it is EM?
Thanks for the recipe, maybe the lack of significant EM is what was making tobaccos harder for me
I really am interested in this because I am making some tobaccos more lately and haven't quite got it perfected. What flavor profile would you say that recipe ends up tasting like?

Yes Boston I really like their lemon, pineapple and peach too. The orange is strong and only needs the tiniest bit to me, like 1 percent....lol. I've been on a fruity kick lately but am gearing up to move towards some tobaccos again. Oh the fickle vape.....
Pete at what percent would you recommend starting that Black Fire with? What are your favorite tobaccos by them in order and why?
I am going to say right upfront I did not like the Perique Black or Virginia at all (maybe I used them improperly or didn't steep long enough) The Dark Vapure is good with other flavors and Mellow is easy to work with. I kept Cowboy not sure what I think of that one yet.
Has anyone had there RY4? Not the Oryental but the regular Ry4 by flavour art? (Can you all tell I am gearing up for a flavor purchase? hahha
I think the FA RY4 is okay, not amazing. I think it provides a good nutty note for an RY4, but you'll still need a good caramel to go with it. It's more of a workhorse than a star.

I really like the Cookie I have to buy more of that. I even mixed the cookie in with a tobacco mix. What I like the best is having to use lower percentages of flavorings than the other brands. I still want to try that RY4 too--if its mild I'll like it.
I vape FA Strawberry at 15% everyday.....excellent. I have tried Maxboro Ultimate and Caramel at every conceivable percentage, steeped and not, and they just taste chemical and nasty to me.
I've never used the Maxboro (heard similar to what you said so I didn't go there) but the caramel has no sweetener you have to add some to bring that flavor out -- that may be why you don't like it. I really like every brand's caramel that I've tired so far. I think its one of those flavors you either like or you don't in a vape.
Haven't tried the strawberry yet I have a Capella's sweet strawberry and its beautiful...lol Have you tried that one? I am interested in FA's other fruits and tobaccos.
I love FA's Zen Garden. It's great to use by itself, as are the Liquid Amber and Hypnotic Mist. I agree with Sweeny Todd the RY4 is ok, but needs something else. The fresh fig smells and tastes wonderful, but it's very light. I have some EM coming today and I'm hoping that will fill it out.
What does Zen Garden taste like? Yeah I think you need the sweetener-- I just ordered more too.
What a timely thread for me - I just yesterday mixed up some tests of Perique Black, Shade and Cuban Supreme.
I did one drop in ~4 ml (should be about 1%, it should have been 0.04ml but I was too lazy/cheap to get out some new 1ml syringes) @ 15mg/ml (pure PG).
When I tasted them after a few hours (they had been "warm steeping" in closed bottles on a tray on the heating element where the temp is about 35 C) I was a bit miffed that I had chosen to do this at this nic-level, which is a bit above what I usually vape - the thought being that I would probably want to add things, and starting at 15mg/ml instead of 12 or 13 which I usually do would give me that space. Because while I can taste the flavours fine, the nic comes through a bit much - a bit more tongue-bite and throat hit than I like.
And these 1% mixes are quite vapable as they are when it comes to flavour. At least to me. In fact, I don't think I would like them much stronger at all - I really enjoyed remnant flavours when I did 3-4 drips of unflavoured in between.

In the Perique mix you are probably getting that extra pepper taste that is inherent in it. You can tone it down a little if you like with EM or another soft flavoring. As you have probably seen some recommend vinegar for tobacco concoctions. I know exactly what you mean the Perique was too strong for me at 1% even after steeping for a week! But I am glad to hear you like it. I am sure it is workable I just didn't like the extra bite.
I like Dark Vapure at about 2.5% and Mellow Tobacco as high as 5% depending on what else I am putting in there. Overall, the tobaccos are very strong to most and will need time to steep.
Funny that you should call it pepper - I call it "licorice" or "anise". I'm familiar with it from other tobacco blends, but was very surprised to find that it is in Perique that it is this heavy and prominent. It's an interesting and nice taste (I first encountered it in EnJuice's Robusta - I got a no-nice sampler with my starting kit, and yes it might be called "peppery" at full strength, but diluted it is definitely "anise" or "licorice" to me), but when very dilute and on its own it skirts close to "perfume" sometimes. I go back and forth between whether I like it on its own or not.
Unfortunately it seems that EM is not "soft" for me at all. Vinegar I already added - I am finding myself using that more and more. Sometime in the future I will also experiment with Malic acid instead of vinegar in tobacco-mixes, I have a feeling I might like that a lot.
Mellow Tobacco? Do you mean FA's Mellow Sunset, or are you talking about another manufacturer?
The other two FA's I did yesterday are also nice:
Shade seems to be more of blend-type (like the Ultimate-series). I get a little bit of the Perique-"licorice", a hint of the sharp "mildew/penicillin" (sorry, I can't think of another word for this taste/smell) from the Camtel, and some more that I don't yet have concepts/words for. This one I might even try at a slightly higher concentration.
Cuban Supreme was a big surprise to me - I sort of expected a dark cigar flavour - very _dark_, heavily cured, that sort of thing. Like a more aromatic version of the heavy dry flavour of my own extraction from some cheap cigarillos.
It is definitely not a weak flavour even at 1%, but to me it is sort of "green", or "fresh". It is definitely tobacco, and there are things that my brain intereprets as "cigar" or "strong tobacco" because this is the one where I really feel the high-nic - I get that feeling of "oh dear, I will pay for this tomorrow" that I used to get when I occasionally smoked a small cigar or just spent some time in a closed space with people who smoked strong cigars.
This is definitely the most interesting or challenging of this trio. I sort of get the idea that this Cuban Supreme is "half the cigar", and now I want to find the other half to create something that would perhaps more resemble something in between a mild but strong cigarette and the aroma of a really rich pipe. Yes, that doesn't make much sense. I know.
