Yes, it does seem unfair, but life is that way sometimes. I must take the stance that it's not the happy times that we are judged upon, but how we deal with the times that are not so happy.
Have done a lot of reflection these last few days, and I am secure in the knowledge that my brother lived the life he chose without any regrets, and that gives me comfort. I am grateful for that.
I'm also grateful that we were fortunate enough to have our 'Shaka' in our lives because she gave us so much joy, and she had little suffering at the end.
And, the beat goes on, as it should.
