The dna chip has it's own integrated buttons, so David will be sending with the add-on module a flat bottom cap to replace the ELA's bottom switch. This will make it much better for standing, but only when using it with the DNA20 module.
Yeah, I'm looking forward to this coming out. I'm always wary of jumping the gun to purchase something like this right off the bat, but for this I might make an exception. The concept of the ELA having a dna20 board on it also intrigues me.
@ukeman - I think sub 1 might not be doable due to the nature of wattage output. Sub 1's should be able to produce more than 20W in ideal situations; i.e. no voltage drop under load...at least that's what I think.
not sure but i think quite a few use P+ (super T ) with genesis... i do...
agreed the button bottom is not great, but i have mod holder that works pretty good.
the P+ is narrower than the ELA which i hope will have a wider button as its girth is 2-4 mm wider than the P+.... which does stand on its 14mm button if you're careful.
i doubt superT would consider a better base for the button ... but Faceless did with his V2 bottom ihybrid... don't know why some won't jump on the Genesis wagon a little faster.
I'm looking into the DNA20 for sub 1.0 Ohms... any info on that? the wattage is plentiful so i don't know what the problem would be.
One of the DNA20 box makers told me the DNA20 specs say 1.0 Ohm is doable, but why not sub 1.0 ?
