Still new to all this. I opened my first pack of fluxomizers, top coil. I had watched the videos on how to fill them, upside down. I thought this just looks so easy. I filled the syringe with my favorite fluid, put the needle in the fill hole, turned the carto upside down and started to fill. I was leaking as much as I was getting in the carto. It was leaking out the top. I couldn't tell where it was really coming from. Unless it was the other little fill hole on the other side. I could only get about a half of the carto full as it was leaking so bad. So I started out with a half full cart. Another problem I am having is the first puff tasted good, now they all have a burnt taste. I am tipping the carto also.

OH, just went back and checked. It is the Phoenix top coil I have, Not the fluxomizer. Still new to all this and guess I went into overload with product information.

you still fill the phoenix top coil right side up....it's only the bottom coil that you fill upside down ;)

as for the burnt taste, I would try filling it up and give it another go....give it a chance to wick properly from the getgo. hth

thanks gang for giving him tips...also remember that soemtiems all you have to do is lift up a bit on the cup seal that presses down a bit on the wicks from factory stamping. Believe me in handling tickets, this is very successful advice for alot of people (meaning they come back and say," sounds good in theory but doesnt work!" Just kidding :p they report back success many times :)

First of all thanks to everyone that has offered me some advice. I was using a backwoods brew formula, Applewood I think. Not sure what the mixture is but it does not seem so thick. I have tried many things. I eventually even took the top silicon seal completely off to make sure the wicks were not being obstructed, before I did that though I did try turning it upside down. Even with the top seal completely off, and when the seal was on there and holding it upside down, I was still getting dry burns. Looks like the top burners will not be for me. I think I was going to order the bottom burners but when I was at the site they were out at that time. Another lesson for me to learn on impatience. Thanks again for all the advice.

This is a copy paste.

Well I tried the fluxo ring... Didn't work, tried pulling the original seal and replacing with fluxo ring, still gurgled and flooded. Had a bunch of stardust innards left since the tubes were no longer serviceable. Decided to try putting a stardust seal, TAKE OUT THE METAL CONE, in my TC, I barely stuck it in the tube and then used the Phoenix tip to push it down onto the cup.

Been using it today, no leaking, little to no flooding and so far no dry hits. You could probably cut some v notches if you want but so far I haven't found the need to.

With the top coil Phoenix, I've found that even with the Fluxo ring on top of the cup seal, there is still space in between the end of the drip tip, and the ring. I put in a second ring, and they vape perfectly. No gurgle, leak, or dry hit. The idea is to completely fill the void between the drip tip and the ring(s).

Have you seen this Thread by any chance? There is some Good Info in it.

Also, maybe I missed it. But did anyone ever ask, or did you say what Ohm your Flxm's are and what type of PV your are using?

Ty Zoid- I was goign to ask that after I got orders shipped today. The lesson here is we often assume, assume the experience of the vaper and they know these things but in my experience in dealing in tickets, etc. you will find that the obvious things, you assumed would be known weren't asked...

So...tell us what ohm fluxos you have and what you are vaping it on as far as voltage, variable, etc...

You do Computers and Networking.

You know what the First Troubleshooting questions is when you have a Network Problem. "Is the Network Cable Plugged In?" and "Is there a LED Light on the NIC Card and is it On?"

I look at Customizers the Same Way. Let's figure out if the Person with the Problem is in a "Normal" Range of Ohms to Voltage.

I saw a thread once just like this one. It had like 60 posts of Wicking Mods/Techs and 3 or 4 Inter-Threads debates about which one was better, Removing the Cup Seal and just using the O-Ring or Cutting "V"'s in the Cup Seal.

Turns out that the OP forgot to mention that he was using a 2.2 Ohm Carto on a 5 Volt Device. That's 11.4 watts of Marshmallow Burning Heat. And to make things better, they were using 30%PG : 70%VG e-Liquid.

If Ohms are the Problem or if the OP is using Higher Voltage, we can go down that road for Possible fixes. And if they aren’t and the Ohms are "Normal" well at least we can cross that off the list.
