I do wonder now what the other Stingray looks like, the one without driptip...the one I ordered but didn't receive. I must assume they didn't get the stock in when they were supposed to and substituted for the other one.

If you look up Walrus Tech via google you should be able to find, and see better pics for it ... And you know, I was gonna say that I thought you ordered the one without a drip tip, do good for you that you were able to score the DT anyway, so you kinda lucked out .. I love my SR drip tip, and it looks great on the Kraken too.

I have heard that the Walrus Tech Stingray is good, the only difference really is the machining on the tubes, which doesn't have the finer seam lines between extension tubes like the other SR's. The tubes are more like the tubes on a Chi You and King in terms of appearance.

I don't know for sure if the one with the drip tip is by Infinite, but it certainly looks just like it .. it is at least as nice from what I am gathering from fivefour, and Jonnysmooth's feedback on it.... Did you ever end up selling your Turtle Ship? I think you had the V1?

That's what my Prometheus and Aqua have bits of whatever what looks like rust. I agree it's doesn't make sense - rust on ss or brass, but not much what you can really do when they are there.

I was gonna say that it didn't look like rust ... perhaps some machining oil that got on it and left a stain???

No never sold the turtleship, never listed it though. Still sits in my mod holder for the most part . I use it from time to time but not enough . Not sure what version it is. I was thinking version 2 but I have no idea.
Still on the fence with trying the stingray.
I have spent too much the last month to justify another mod but my 12 step program....mods anonymous group has failed me....LOL. I got to step 3 and threw in the towel

I have a V2 Turtle that should be on Monday or Tuesday from FC ... LUKE THIS IS YOUR MOTHER ... GET THE STINGRAY MOD.

No not broken, just over ... it said "THIS IS DEAL IS STOP", which just means that it ended ... sorry you missed it, I thought there were another 10+ hours on it.

I don't see how if you want a mechanical you would think twice about the Stingray, it doesn't get any better in terms of voltage drop..machining quality...looks (IMHO).

If your looking for a cloned mechanical you can't do any better.

No authentic mod has less voltage drop than the Stingray (real or clone).

So the "Kanger" Protank 3 and Aerotank I ordered on separate group buys both had dodgy scratch off code stickers. In fact, it's the same code on both (ends in 23332)! The PT3 is a bit crooked due to the top part not having the chimney welded on straight. The Aerotank base has a bad bottom pin that sticks past the bottom 510 thread, clearing the insulator grommet with enough play to short out. I had to put some tape around the bottom to keep it centered. I don't have this issue with a seemingly genuine airflow base I got from Fasttech. The units are serviceable and the price was good, but from now on I'm going to assume any KangerTech products on Focal aren't genuine.

The KangerTech products I purchased from FC last fall were the Real Thing (Coils, Clearos, etc.)
Since then, every Kanger product I've received from FC have been crappy fakes/knock-offs.

For now, I'll give Doris the benefit of the doubt and point my finger at an unscrupulous
supplier. I hope she takes action and isn't in cahoots.

Any of you tried WTA liquid? My DW just is not satisfied by regular nic liquid, so I have been looking at the WTA. What I read it is more like smoking, but I don't know, cost a lot to try, (at Aroma Ejuice 15ml unflavored 24mg with freight was $35.50), and was wondering if any of you had tried it and could give me some feedback on if it really was different and helped with the cig cravings. Not a problem with me, just trying to help the DW get off the cigs for good. Thanks

I am not familiar with WTA's but I know many folks as members here that use NETs. My vapor juice .com without the spaces comes recommended although I have never tasted it. I don't care for tobacco vapes but thought I would throw that out there for a cheaper alternative.

I assume you have tried many tobacco flavors from other vendors? A few I have tried are English bulldog, high five from good life vapor. A lot of folks also love their el kamino. I have also tried RY4 from mom and pops vapor shop.

Anyway sorry I don't have more to offer on taste as that line of flavor is not my thing. I try to stay far away from it.

I will tell you though what got me off the cigs was ice fire from D&D vapor. Strong with a kick.
