Nice Rudi :D ... I received a KFL today myself, will post pics in a bit ...

Oh, attention everybody : I lied a little earlier, I thought I would be able to "edit and add" to both blogs, but it appears that I cannot ... unless there is something I am missing

If that is true, I guess I will have to create a new blog for customer feedback every month or so?? ... *sigh* I will figure it out :p

Here`s the dead dull kayfun Lite

smooth threads, all SS, good pole + fill screws. The hex screw for the air control is quite long ( M3x5 - M3x3 would be perfect ), but I always take them out - I need air ;)

Now I have to find a matching mod.

Did you take the 15 min drive to pick it up or it was delivered to your door?

Sent from a BIG phone.....Galaxy Note 3

No ... it was actually delivered at 10am, although I didn't check my mail until 12:30pm, which I regret, I missed two hours of playing with my toys :p

Is there something where you turned off comments? If so you could turn on comments, add something that way. Just a thought.

It seems to me that I read somewhere on here that blogs can NOT be edited. I believe it was in the DIY Liquids threads. Someone was doing a blog about DIY vendors and discovered that it couldn't be updated.

I emailed her on the 15th and she said she sold more than she had so they are on back order. I'll email her again

I just emailed Doris at FC. I will post her reply when I receive it. I know myself, I had bought 2 of the KFL's and am anxiously awaiting for them as well as a separate order of a TF GT :)

I got my vape mail, I got my vape mail, and it is sexy, and it is sexy :D

First impressions/Turtle Ship V2: - What a relief, the Turtle Ship V2 appears to be everything that I had hoped for. The most striking impression straight away is the near invisible seams between the tubes. Based on the pictures on FC's website, I had no reason to expect this. Yet again, we have another mod that is much better looking in person, than the website photos lead you to believe.

The machining and engravings on this mod are very nicely done, and every piece threads on, and off as it should. After receiving this mod, and testing the different battery configurations, I have reason to believe that this is NOT the same Turtle Ship V2 that Fasttech carries.

A couple of FT customers complained on the forums about not being able to completely close up their tubes with nipple and flat 18350 batteries, nor could they get any atty to sit flush in the 350 configuration. One forum user also said that you could clearly see the seams between tubes from 2 feet away. But the most common complaint was a loosey goosey delrin insulator/battery rattle adjuster in the bottom cap, and a very crunchy switch ... None of these issues are present on the mod that I received.

The only flaw that I can see so far, which is utterly minor, is the insulator in the top cap is not laying completely flat all the way around the insulator. On half is completely flat, with the other side is slightly raised up by 2 hairs. However, it not affecting connectivity, or my ability to flush mount the KFL, or close up the tubes.

Kayfun Lite sku 12113: This one comes will a full parts package including a double sided screwdriver, o rings, extra screws, pre wrapped coils, and a clear tank. The KFL is packaged with the stainless steel tank installed. Out of the package it was very clean, with only a slight smell of machine oil. The catch screws on this baby are tiny, so it will be interesting to see how this works out this 30gauge wire. All of the parts/sections are properly machined, and fit as they should.

As per usual, after I have had a chance to use both for a week, or so, I will post a proper review. :)

Yeah :( ... I assumed, which I shouldn't have that I would be able to edit them, most especially since so many members write tutorial type blogs. You know what they say about assuming. :p

I thought about doing that as well Burnie .. but I turned off the comments when I posted them  I was trying to eliminate the possibility of having to spend time in yet another section of the forum.

Heard back from Doris at FC:

Good evening Keith,

Thanks for reaching me. Just back for work. I have contacted the supplier yesterday, he said he had sent us new batch kayfun lite (SKU 13539) for 205pcs. I'll check if it can arrive our warehouse today. Once arrives, i'll urge our warehouse staff to ship all kayfun lite out.

But for now, i can not promise you guys anything until i see and our staff check those products. If you could help to comfort ECF members, that would be very appreciated!

With kindest regards,

Doris

Then I received this:

Hello Keith,

Head up:

I saw new batch Kayfun lite arrived! It requires at least one hour to QC. But there is only 200pcs which is not enough for pending orders. But we will ship orders during group buy. Meanwhile, we are still urging our supplier for new batch. If he broke promise again, we will have to stop selling this item. We will ship out these 200pcs kayfun lite today. Orders placed later might not be shipped.

Any update, i will let you know. Thank you so much for your concern for ECF members.

Have a great night!

Doris

Hey Nickinator... Any reason you choose SKU 12113 KFL over the other ones? That particular one seems to be the most expensive KFL. What were your reasoning's? Inquiring minds what to know!

JonnySmooth
I also got 12113, got it because of reviews - everyone was happy with an item, and i'm as well. Other one... - who knows how it will work.

For one, it was one of the first Kayfun's that FC had on site when I first found them, so I have had my eye on it for quite some time. As Laylel said, this one happens to also have several positive reviews, so I knew it was a good one. Lastly, I like how the machining , and brushed finish appears on it, and it has the scandalous engravings on the bottom. :D

And let me tell you, for all the complaints that I hear about whistling Kayfun's, this baby is DEAD SILENT while vaping. The air flow/draw on it is perfect for me too ... Very happy so far with my choice.

CAN WE PLEASE TALK ABOUT THE NEW BLACK TURTLE SHIP V2!!

Ok, its no secret that I don't usually go for black colored devices, but can talk about why I would absolutely go for this one?

For beginners, this Turtle Ship is heavy at approx 160 grams, that is heavy people, as in THICK TUBES. For those of you who are familiar with the Chi You, it is known for its thick, heaviness at 150 grams .. okay.

Next, it is 23mm  ... Now, being that my favorite RBA is 23 mm, this is a friggin no brainer for Taifun GT user's. And last, but not least, it has stainless steel accents with the top, and bottom caps, so can you see your Taifun sitting on top of this baby, all flush and purdy like? ... Yeah, I can

Ugh.. I have 1 package from FC in China waiting to be shipped, and 2 FC orders still not shipped (one being that group buy). What daddy needs is a nice sexy side fire button. I have now 6 bottom fire mods and no VV/VW. Been mulling over a ProVari.... just not ready to shell out $200 just yet.

No don't get a Provari, they're ugly ... Why not try the big daddy 7-22 mod? They are about $50 bucks cheaper than a Provari, with more options ... and more attractive too.

If you want something 22mm though, I would consider the Semovar, its more attractive than a Provari as well. And it would match your Kayfun's nicely :D
