The issue isn't that the o-ring is missing, the (potential) problem is the chimney not fully contacting and seating into the top cap o-ring correctly. I added an extra o-ring between the base part of the chimney and the top part of the chimney, effectively increasing the height of the chimney by a millimeter, providing a better contact.

I'm up to seven different KFL and KF3.1 clones now. I found the needed o-ring in the spares from one of the others.

my KFL's have that problem... it doesn't quite fit right. What I did find, that was very useful, is a small piece of aluminum that is the same diameter as the top of the chimney. I stick that through the top cap and use it as a guide to guide it on the chimney as I screw it down. it works flawlessly. I believe that most people with their kayfun's leaking or gurgling have the o ring not seating properly.

I purchased three of the Tebeco Kayfun Lite clones during the group buy early last month. I think mine are from a later batch from the supplier as they were not shipped until around the 26 of last month. I received them about a week ago and finally got around to cleaning and building a coil/wick for one of them tonight. The coil was 1.17 ohm when I checked it on the ohm meter. Mine do have the extra deep, flat bottom juice channels like others I have seen pictures of, but there is no problem at all with the top of the chimney sealing to the top cap. The bottom of the top cap is flat and lower than any of my other Kayfun Lites. The oring for the seal to the top of the chimney is up in the top cap in a grove. Actually if you do not really tighten the chimney when you assemble it, when you remove the top cap it will unscrew the chimney because the oring is sealed so tight to the chimney. I can remove the drip tip and look down into the opening in the top cap from the top and see that the chimney is fully seated up through the oring. Maybe the Kayfuns that have the problem with the chimney not sealing to the oring were from the first ones shipped. Also, mine came with an white oring type seal between the bottom and top chimney sections and there is also a spare of this oring seal in the spare parts bag that came with it.
This new Kayfun is vaping just as good as any of my other Kayfuns. I have a real one, two older Tebeco ones and a EhPro one.
The air flow is very open for a Kayfun style and I have had no problems with it leaking at all. All the threads are smooth.
I was afraid I was going to have all kinds of problems with these new tanks, but I am totally satisfied with them.

Oh wow, that looks like some major DIY supplies ... Today we could have "bartered" some services to one another, as I just spent all morning and early afternoon working in the Garden  I needed you Laylel

I am EXHAUSTED, but my hostias and begonias are planted, although I wanna smack myself for not choosing two types of perennials, instead of one annual, and one perennial

I love hostas, low maintains and great look. Not much bloom so. Has to be cleaned from old leaves and fully cut down for winter 2 inches from soil level. Great part about them different sizes and shapes of leaves, from 4" to 3' tall and up to 1' diameter leave, also planty of the color white/green/blue. They more like shade and look great with ferns (crazy color/size/shape of leave chose) what gives great opportunity create great garden with minimum input. Some types of the grass can bring nice touch.
If you do not like garden job you need look for low maintenance plants. Everyone likes different, some color, some wild flower, some pure ever green bushes and such. But a secret of beautiful garden - healthy looking not crowed plants. you see dead leave - pick it, dead flower - trim it.
Annual are more for lovers dirt digging (like me:D), great opportunity to change look of your garden quick and pretty cheap. Or just buy premade baskets and put them around - put them dip for level of the soil (but need hard water control, they still in basket).

Heh, we have a mix of both. Perennials make up the center section of our garden, and the annuals make up the front part. Since most color comes from the annuals, each year we can change out our annuals... and we don't have to dig up the whole bed. A bit of edging material seperates the two. great look all around.

Wow, this doesn't have to do much about E-cigs... ummm... I like to vape while working in the garden.... With Analogs, I'd have to take a break, which involved going and sitting down, which in turn lowered my momentum... so, Vaping made my gardening faster. And faster gardening means I have time to... err... do more work.... wait... more work?

Oh please do post pics ... I am sure that even the lurkers would like to see what the black copper SR looks like.

And I am damn jealous of your travel trailer too! Wherever it was that you were camped out, it looked really peaceful. :)

I'm a nature girl .. My great love is peace and stillness, surrounded by the sounds of nature :) ... with a good vape in one hand, and a nice merlot in the other. In fact, in another 10 minutes or so I have a date with my side lawn and easy chair

Thank you so much for posting your feedback on the Group Buy Kayfun's :)

You are quite welcome for the feedback. I hope Doris puts these Kayfuns on group buy again. I will for sure buy more if she does offer this deal again as I want three more of them and I have several friends who want one at this price also. I just have such good success with Kayfuns and really do not want to try or use other atomizers. I am known as "Mr Kayfun" at all the local vape shops and they send everyone with problems with their Kayfuns to me to sort out their problems. I have found so many tricks that work on Kayfuns I think I could write a book about them. I have even modified one Kayfun Lite that I use as a dripper that works quite nicely. I would hate to really know the number of hours I have spent working on and experimenting on Kayfuns. I am sure it would be in the hundreds of hours. I am the same way about Poldiac mods. I have four of them, two originals and two clones that I have highly modified to get them to work just like the real ones.
Put a "bug" in Doris's ear about offering these same Tebeco Kayfun Lite clones again on group buy.

Nikki,

Should of told me about the Cartel earlier. It is a nice dripper. One of my favorites. I'm going to get more. :).

Fits the Hades nicely. Both brushed steel. Running parallel coils 28 ga. 4-5 wraps giving me about .4.

oh my. Look at all those goodies what we got. Shame, i just ordered tree mod, i was looking at it like forever and just last night got.

Doris got for me replacement base for Nemmy and replacement base for Aero tank what will come on next order (i'm fine with it).

Also i did ask about shipping EMS-like to Canada and she sad they will look into option, but they do not have e-packet like FT. Hopefully she will find a way. My last order for copper nemmy took from Singapore 8 day to accept a physical item... (every time when look at there original web-site i hate that girl on home page and looks like i'm starting to get racism impulses, it's easy when my unhappiness has a face)
