Well, I bought the kayfun lite 13539, BEFORE, it went on Group buy, (cause i didnt know it was going on Group Buy) around a week ago (may 22nd), I know its my flaw, so I doubled down, and bought one on Group buy- now I have got two of them coming. So anyway, I talked to Doris on skype, because, dudes & dudettes, my first one hadn't been sent out. And Doris - she wanted to give me a credit-(and i didnt even ask) Doris was so nice, so I told her to keep the money and she wants to credit me ( I think) when I buy a Markus clone. But I am so hip deep in Lavatubes but I gotta have a Maraxus clone, I gotta have one of those puppies- its soo me. so it will be my first mechanical mod, I feel its time to try one. Doris is really a top notch person, she was so good to me.

Nikkita, I bought the 13539 because you said (I think) the pin on the sku 12113 was pushed out pretty far for some mods, or something like that. If I wanna get a 12113, can't you just tighten that pin down on the bottom of the kayfun with a screwdriver? <<<< if I missed it on this thread someplace, my bad.

Its all cool, Doris and I are on a first name basis.

Yeah, I did mention in my review that the 510 pin on the KFL sku 12113 is a bit long, and NON adjustable, so it is best used with mods that have a floating 510 pin. If you used it with a fixed pin 510 connection, you are almost guaranteed to have gaps. All of my mechs have adjustable 510 connections, so I don't have any problems flush mounting it to everything.

Glad Doris did right by you on your order that failed to ship ... The KFL sku 13539 is the Tobeco one correct? I don't have any direct experience with this one, and reviews seems to be mixed, some great, some had problems with flooding .. hard to tell if its user error, or a qc problem with the device.

Ok. So I was a little disappointed with the Black Stingray. The 510 pin is fixed. It is hard to adjust with the Attys it leaves a gap. I turned and turned the atty down but it wasn't budging. This is what I did to correct the problem but threads will show at the bottom. That doesn't really bother me as much, since my hand usually covers it when vaping. Threads were a little crunchy. I wiped them down and used 3n1 oil on the threads. Much better.

As you can see here on the top cap the pin is stuck on the derlin piece. I punched both out from the top side.

Screw the atty on al the way.

Slide the plastic derlin and pin to the top cap.

Thread the atty and top to body. Insert battery and adjust accordingly. Here you can see the threads on the lock ring. But hey...it works

It would but all the RBA, RDA are different lengths and if I take too much off might not work for all my other ones. But it's all good. It's working now and I can't complain too much for a clone.

Oh really? That looks just like some of the acrylic mod stands that FT sells ... which are probably really lipstick holders

This would work for me, I like the clear acrylic.

Wow G-weezy, that sucks, and I am a bit confused too ... The top and bottom cap do not look like the first black SR that they first listed. That looks like the crappy switch like one of the versions on FT.

Nelson54 also recently received a Black copper SR and he confirmed that his top cap was floating ... Looks like they either changed supplier's at some point, or the supplier did a switch-a-roo on FC, but that is not the top cap and switch design listed on the product page. I think you should email Doris about it, so that they can A) update the product photos because most ppl shop based on photos, and B) compensate you in some way for this mix up.

Sorry that you were let down on this one ... these darned BC Stingray clones seem to be a mixed bag, with too many versions floating around.

You're such a good guy Weezy, but even though its a clone, you should not have to deal with one that is not as it should be. I'm a little bothered because the SR you received is different from the one pictured in the listing ... Granted, yours seems to have uncoated threads, unlike the one pictured in the listing, but the one is the listing has the good switch and top cap.... I would rather have the better switch and floating 510 top cap.

I hear ya. But I'm not mad at all. It works fine for now. There are many variants of the Black Stingray around. I get confused from all of them. Read this and that version I'm good. As long as it's here I'm fine with that. Plenty of other mods to use. FT or FC has been good. No complaints from either one. A new set of pins would be nice. Can accommodate all Attys then. Thanks for the concern. It's no biggie. Really no biggie.

.. I feel better know, and please don't feel like an idiot though. Notice how on point Ms. Nikki's clone knowledge is ;-) ... I was looking at the pics like "that looks like one of the FT versions". Easy mistake to make since you order so much from both vendors.

Aww thank you so much, you are too sweet! I definitely put a lot of thought into my "creations", and the classical piece that I used was actually the inspiration for the video. I absolutely love "Loire", and I feel transported every time I listen to it. There was a definite "mood and tone" that I wanted to capture, so thank you for making me feel like I pulled it off.

I am big fan of "effect", so I have always used them a lot in my videos, including the non-vape related one's. It's great when you can bring together two different hobbies.
