Have one more question. On the Taifun. Are you getting enough airflow through the device? I have mines but haven't built it yet.

STOPPPPPPP! Do not drill on your Taifun! I have two, one I keep the 1.5 mm air hole in, and the other has the air flow tube all the way, which makes the air hole 2mm, both the 1.5 and 2mm size I find to be sufficient.
So often I hear stories about drilled out rba's that end up leaking .. a lot, so don't do it. Get your first build going, and at best, take the air flow tube out of the deck .... please Weezy, don't kill the Taifun

I guess the stars were not aligned correctly, really thought I was quick enough on the Tailfun gt-nope. No kill fun for another 8 hours.
Sorry no pics of the Panzer 18938 from the last GB yet but I'm not sure I can take a better pic then the ones EC has listed. It is polished and I hope all of them plus or minus the first 100 shipped are as nice as these 2. I think #100 is coming tomorrow? #298, #423-425?. Doris thank you so much they are AWESOME at $16.90 shipped

Play with a device and understand it before modifying it. I killed my first kayfun. Still sad.

I haven't seen G-Weezy post again, so I hope my pleas are not too late.
I'm here. I finished drilling the Kayfun 3.1. Since I have a backup because the negative post was stripped. I used a piece of Kanthal and slid it between the screw vertically. Tightened it up. I completely removed the air adjustment screw and drilled that with a 1/8th bit. Countersunk the positive post screw from both sides for better air travel.
Better air flow now. Whistles when I draw. I'll leave the Taifun alone for now. But will rip the chimney out. Got spare chimneys and o-rings just in case.
Also was MIA for a sec to build a new coil for work. Hehe. Always need a fresh coil to start off the week.
It's been replaced, so it's okay. Lesson learned. Make sure it's not user error before making permanent changes.
