Weird. Had the same thing happened to me the other night with my SS Turtle Ship. I locked the mod went up to check on the wifey and baby. Held him to sleep for 15 mins. Came back down to see my other lil one. Something told me to go take another vape. Went into my room and grabbed the TS unlocked it and "BAM!!!!" Finger got burnt. "Dropped it like its hot!!!" :) took apart the bottom switch.

The positive pin derlin melted and pin was stuck on the Sony. Battery survived but pin did not. Out of TS for now. ;(

That sucks Weez, but I did get a good laugh at "dropped it like its hot" Now you have me wanting to go whip that song out and get my " Dip it low, pick up slow" on

Back to your Turtle Ship though  DAMN ... Go check out Fatdaddyvapes, he may have replacement pins that you can buy. Even if you don't see it listed, I would email him to see if he can help you out.

FYI, the black Turtle Ship is 23mm, not 22mm ... G-Weezy has the black Turtle.

Damn wish I had read that part when ordering, I got the black stillare with white logo ordered from FT, went to restocking, but thought would go well with the black turtle ship, but only 1mm difference, hopefully will still look good.

Lol. @Nikki. All good. My buddy will make some and send me replacements when he can. They will be copper, I can wait. FatDaddys is my second home lol. All my upgrades come from his eBay site.

Oh, that is awesome that you have a buddy that can make copper pins for the Turtle Ship ... I'm jelly :p Damn Weez, I thought I had good vape Karma, I need to make friends, with your friends  Just kidding, I don't like "friend jumpers".

Oh it will still look good ... There was a time when there weren't any RDA's in 22mm, they were all 20mm and smaller. I try to remind myself that not every set up needs to be flush in diameter.

My Stingray from the group buy finally arrived yesterday :) Everything was great except for the switch. On the tube all the threads are great, almost can't see the seams and very smooth. The switch was a disappointment initially, crunchy threads, crunchy switch action, wiggly and wobbly. Worked on it for a bit and now all is good.

In case anybody else has a similar problem I just worked the switch threads in and out of the tube for a bit, putting a couple of ounces of pressure first up then down as I was screwing in and out (I'm talking about the switch) ;) Then I disassembled it and cleaned everything well with alcohol swabs, saw a few metal shavings on the swab afterward. After that I replaced the undersized rice pin they had in there with a piece of 12ga. solid copper wire. Perfect fit. Now everything is smooth and she and I are happy together :)

Oh interesting ... The switch on my SS Stingray was MUCH smoother out of the box then my Infinite Brass Stingray was when I first got it ... I just took it apart and scrubbed the threads down really good, and it was all better after than.

My switch doesn't wobble at all, even with a Kayfun 3.1 w/custom cap on top, and those are very heavy .. The good news is that you got it all worked out :toast:

I am actually working on a review for the SS Stingray right now. :)

Yep, I'm not to worried about it, only the TOBH is completely flush on some of my mods, the IGO-W and Helio are both smaller on all my mods.

Yeah, customer demand caused mod makers to start turning out RDA's in 22mm ... I am still waiting for someone to make a Kayfun in 23mm so I can be totally happy  There was some hope with the Expromizer, that baby is not for sale in China yet.
